This place is starting to slip for real. I've been going here for years and the prices have gone up but service and food aren't matching it. This time did it for me so had to give a review. The fountain drinks are never good. At least not the Dr. Pepper. It's either all syrup and no carbonation or vis versa. I mentioned it today while passing another customer and he said yeah they are just now getting tea out here. It was 1:30 in the afternoon. I requested mac n cheese as a side and they said they ran out. Likely meant that it wasn't made at all. I say that because I decided to get Mississippi mud pie as the side instead and it was dated at the 19th. I got my food on March 23rd. So now I'm paying a premium for BBQ but getting 5 day old sides? I had my food to go and when I got home the wings I got were dry like they were yesterdays food and just got refried. What took the cake was the ranch I requested had literal chunks in it. Kinda like they froze it and it wasn't thawed all the way. I typically refer these guys when I am at work but I'm done with it. Paying $58 for two kids and two adults and that was the result. Other places in town to give my...
Read moreThis is one of our favorite places! They have a great beer selection, good food, and it just looks cool inside. Kind of rustic. They have live music, trivia, and other fun things going on every night. The BBQ is good, and you can get a plate or sandwich. You can choose pork, chicken, or turkey. They're all good, but of course the pork is the way to go. They offer a bunch of side items, like baked beans (delicious, get these!), cornbread casserole, greens, and banana pudding. But you have to get the "Redneck Nachos"! They're soooo good and big enough for two people to share. They have wavy potato chips as a base, with BBQ meat, sauce, onions, jalapeños (fresh ones and they are super hot, so be careful), and some other stuff. You will crave them again several days later. I want some right now because I'm...
Read moreAs a former restaurant consultant, I am one that will give a restaurant one time to make a descent impression. Value certainly lacking. Menu confusing for 1st timers because it does not explain what exactly the dishes are. Inconvenient to have to ask about what is in a plate or is it strips or fillets etc. If it were busy you would be holding up the line. Cashiers really don't want you to ask and not properly trained with answers. Condiment area was awful with melted ice to keep items cold. Condiments not properly identified and out as well. What was bad about these issues is that it was during slow time, and employees were only interested in their cell phones rather than cleaning tables and doing side work. My visit was about a couple of months after opening this...
