I hate to leave a negative review on any business and to be honest, I have never done it before. I ordered 8 pizzas for a party. My husband went to pick up the pizzas and 4 out of the 8 were wrong.... and one needed to be gluten free/dairy free due to health reasons. We called them and they said they would credit us for those 4 wrong pizzas. That was better than nothing but still disappointed because we picked out those pizzas specifically for a reason and especially the gluten free dairy free! That guest had nothing to eat! We had snacks but the pizza was the main meal...Very frustrating but I was thankful for the credit...But it is now over a month later and I still don't have a credit to my bank. I called several times. I was kind on the phone but they still gave me no real answer. They kept telling me to call my bank but they had no date for when they apparently credited me. Needless to say, our order for over 30 people was half wrong. We were promised a credit and no credit. I would love to see more businesses come to Auburn but sadly, I won't be using Otto in...
Read moreIf there was a zero star option I’d select. Stopped in at the Auburn location. Arrived at 1:30. Waitress got to our table by 1:35. It was not very busy. 2 people, we ordered 2 small pizzas . Waitress said our order got “stuck “ behind a large takeout order after about 20 minutes. By 2:25 and still no sign of our pizza we told her we were leaving. She said she was going to let us have the pizza free. We left without it. If your takeout orders take precedence over dine in patrons, close the dining room and just do take out. There’s no sense of urgency, no manager. 2 waitress and 2 in the kitchen and when we left there was only one as the other cook was talking at the bar with a waitress and I’m assuming an off duty employee, who seemed to command more attention than our table or the rest of the tables waiting for food or a bill. Not going back. It’s pizza, it’s easy and quick to make and there’s no reason to not have managers or enough staff to serve people. Close down the...
Read moreI like Otto’s pizza. I’ve looked forward to their bacon, pineapple, and hot honey pizza since they moved into their Auburn location. I’ve ordered it twice, but have not yet been able to enjoy it. My first bacon-pineapple-hot-honey came with pepperoni’s, which I don’t like, so I didn’t eat the pizza. The manager was very kind and dropped off a $25 gift card the next day for my troubles. Today I tried redeeming that gift card on the app, but the card was never activated. I called the store, and a really nice young woman put the order through for me at no charge. My pizza was delivered in a prompt manner, but was simply a bacon-and-pineapple pizza. No hot honey. I called the store to let them know, again, that I hadn’t received the pizza I ordered. No request made for a gift card, nor a remake. It’s kind of silly after two times trying to get this right. I love the pizza that I keep trying to eat. Someday I hope to get one, without having to travel to...
