I can see Yong Shin being the go to Chinese food restaurant in the Worcester area. Restaurant is clean inside with nice Asian decor that gives it a comfy feeling. Great Mai Tai's and Scorpion Bowl's. However the food is where it is at. Hot and sour soup is old school delicious. It has a nice flavor while clearing out your sinuses! If you really want to elevate it they have a delicious seafood hot and sour soup. The perfect start. The items on the PuPu platter are very solid, especially the beef teriyaki! The Wings are juicy and delicious, especially right out of the kitchen. The boneless ribs were moist and flavorful. The shrimp is the older circle style. I was impressed the shrimp wasn't dry. The Chicken Fingers had a nice coating that was cooked through without excess batter. I tried my egg rolls with their duck sauce and mustard, if my sinuses weren't already cleared.. The Lobster sauce is one of the better ones that I have tried. The orange chicken and the orange beef were amazing! They had a nice crunch, the chicken and beef was moist and the sauce was delicious! One of my favorites that I've had. The kung pao chicken was also delicious with the right amount of heat! The sushi is delicious! Overall, I was very happy with the food. I highly recommend checking out Yong Shing.

This was our second time and we weren't disappointed. Stopped for a late lunch so decided to try a few combo plates. The food came out quickly and was freshly made. Combos came with soup and choice of rice. The beef teriyaki was the best ive had and the boneless spareribs and wings were great as well. I know it's only apps but trust me you notice when it comes out well. My wife had the cashew chicken, which had plenty of chicken cashews and veggies. Plenty of fried rice to accompany as well. The egg rolls were large and we split one and took the other home. My wife loves crab rangoon and was not disappointed, good filling and the wraps had great crisped edges with the remainder soft. I had the hot and sour soup which was yummy i usually like it a little spicier but it was a delicious balance of tang with a little kick. My wife had the wonton soup and the bowl had 4 or more filling the bowl. Good value, quick friendly service and bonus was our waitress sat us in a booth facing the Bruins game. Did i mention the 22oz Sapporo... we'll be back next time we're in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was when my family and I went for a birthday dinner last night. I'd gone here years ago and hated it. Bland food back then, but they've really improved! Between myself and the rest of my party, we had a little bit of everything on the table. All of it was fantastic, and they've now replaced my favorite restaurant. Special shout outs to the peking ravioli and general gaus. Not to mention the super strong but delicious mai tais! Only criticising note on the food would be that the orange chicken didn't taste like it was meant to be orange chicken. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and always there right when you needed someone. Atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. On busy nights, definitely use the free valet service, cause parking is near impossible. If the lot is full and you don't valet, parking is across the street at the high school. (So spare that valet a tip for convenience.)

This was my FIRST time coming here and LAST time. Absolutely terrible customer service. Had been sitting for 15 minutes already ordered drinks with my sister and niece on a dead day. Unfortunately I was given sink water on ice. (granted I should’ve known better) As we waited, a couple came in after us and for some reason the waitress decided to take their order before us as if we weren’t already there? THEN proceeded to our table to take our order. The amount of disrespect is ridiculous. As we wait they come out with their food before us… As the couple was enjoying their meal she comes out with a cart of food for another table. So I’m like what the hell is going on? My sister asked to speak to the manager. Ben or Bin was his name was speaking to us, and trying to understand what happened. I told them I’ve been waiting for so long and you have other people being served before us after they came in? All he could do is offer us a discount… I told him do you think that’s okay? the amount of disrespect was surreal and barreling because I could pay for our meal in FULL. That implies to me you think I can’t pay for my food. I don’t need a discount of any sort. As I’m speaking to him the waitress comes up to us and drives to invade my personal space, in my face, trying to show me the receipt of the time, I had told her back up back up! You’re in my face what are you doing? You’re not gonna tell me what time they came in when clearly it was after us, YOU took their order before us and was served before us? Are you kidding me? That’s so unprofessional and disrespectful. That waitress needs serious service skills. I feel so targeted at this establishment. It’s unfortunate how this was my first time and had the absolute worst experience. Just the worst.

Edit: So you can see with the reply they admitted they’re wrong but followed up with another lie about food being brought out at the same time. NEVER RECEIVED FOOD….“Video evidence” yet can’t determine how many people walked in an establishment… I sent an email out and they basically called me a liar because they don’t know what cameras to check? More mad about the discount that I refused as opposed to making things right? What business does that???? Email that was received “Regrettably, considering the circumstances, it appears beneficial for both parties if you abstain from visiting our establishment in the future. While I acknowledge your frustration stemming from the situation, it's important to note that the manager did extend a discount to you in accordance with our standard procedure, which you declined and found offensive. I must inform you that I am unable to prolong this discussion as we have not met a satisfactory resolution. Again, you are welcome to revisit our establishment at your convenience in the future, if not that is totally fine as well. Thank you again for taking the time to reach out. Have a great day.” We never discussed a resolution. Practically saying “F me” because I did not take a discount????...

We have eaten at this restaurant several times in the last two years when visiting that area. Never had a problem However; last night was a mess from moment we entered the restaurant. We were greeted on entering and then were on our own. We found a table... No one paid attention. Finally a young man with a backwards ballcap came from behind the bar to "help" us. We got a "server" (who did not introduce herself but was prob 50ish lady of Asian decent). She took our drink order and brought them followed by taking our order. We waited and waited and finally she came out to tell us the food would "take a little while"... We waited some more. Finally gentleman behind bar came around again to check on us and said he would check on food. Then same "lady" came out and rudely said to us "I told you it would take a little while" Unfortunately the food we got was not the same as the SAME item was in the past (what we always get) The meat was different and the sauce was different. And the item was NOT HOT...warm but not hot. The fried rice was barely warm A shame because rice was good but again cold. Very disappointed. We brought home where we will heat to a decent temperature. Very very disappointed and tempted to block payment The more I thnk about it the angrier I am That lady never appeared again. We had to have guy from behind bar (only one paying attention to us) come out and get a server to do our bill. We were ready to pay and no one picked up Tried to pay in front and she said "No must pay server" Well we had had three servers so who to pau? j Again "Backwards Ball Cap" guy took care of us. Was definitely not a good experience and if I could get ahold of the owner I would. We are a senior couple who does not eat out a lot and deserve to be treated at least like a customer and to not have to find help when we need someting in a restaurant and definitely deserve our food to be hot. Will be a very very very long time before we visit that restaurant again SHAME SHAME on that "lady" for how she treated and abandoned us and the young man who forgot to get payment and WHEN Did you stop taking payment at register in front? End of...

I went a with my wife and a few of our friends, a party of 5 in total. We arrived unannounced at around 4:30 and were immediately put off by how we were treated as soon as we walked in. We could tell the woman waiting to seat us was visibly agitated as we took a moment to decide whether we would do the buffet or not, a decision that took only a few seconds but received glares and huffs. When we sat down, the waitress slapped menus on our table without a word and left us to our orders. At this point we could tell we weren't welcome, but we weren't sure why. It wasnt busy. When the waitress returned, I ordered a drink for my wife. I was not carded, but when she returned with the drink the waitress demanded to see my wife's ID- now we are both in our late twenties, so I understand why she would need to see it but the way she spoke to me made me feel like a criminal, as if I had brought in an underage girl to get drunk. The waitress would suck her teeth and click her tongue at us, sigh as she waited for our orders, basically did everything short of pushing us out of the door. The food was absolutely sub par- the lemon flavored chicken is nothing more than deep friend bread with hot lemon curd on top of it. The drinks were strong and the food came out quick, but those are the only good things I have to say about it. All of us felt so unwelcome at this place. It's a shame since I wanted to try it out after so many of my coworkers talked it up, but we will never give this place the time of day. It feels wrong that customers can be treated like that for no reason. This was legitimately the worst experience any of us had at...
