Since i had to pick a star i gave this 1 but they should have negative stars!! My husband and i pulled in and the drive thru was around the whole building so seeing the inside was empty we decide to go in to order, only two customers in front of us a gentleman standing off to the side clearly annoyed and still drink and foodless and the two little old men who was ordering in front of us who between their hard of hearing and the fact that the lady taking the order was clearly new sort of took prob longer than should of after they wer done placing order the lady went over amd got the first guy his coffee i would say "finally" by the look on his face. She then got the 2 large coffees of the other 2 guys(by the way ordered 2 small) and he said wow "these are awfully big for smalls" then a lady that was a manager came up and got the first guy his food then the food for the second guy while my husband and i placed our order we had a $50 so she had to have the manager get change check authenticity blablabla at this point we wer told that i couldnt get my iced caramel machiatto the machine wasnt working okay first of all if we had been told that from the beginning we would of left and went to the next McDonald's anyway the manager came over and said she had to do a "refund" (this was the word she used ) and asked me what i wanted instead of my americano and i said i didn't order an americano! but apparently thats what the lady had put in. Although the people that I worked with can be very compassionate I can see that years down the road it's only declined and it's service. I went there tonight to get dinner for my family I waited in the Drive-Thru line for 3 minutes before I decided I would just pull off and walk inside. I went inside and ordered my food and there was only one other family who had ordered food inside. I noticed the front counter worker making a frappe and realize the cup was only half-full he attempted to make another and I stopped him before he did to let him know that his machine was no longer full of ice. While filling the machine his manager walked over and was about to start a frappe I let her know that I told her employee to fill the frappe machine she said that was probably a good idea. I had now waited 10 minutes for my "fast food". When I told the front counter worker that if my food was not ready in 5 more minutes that I would like a refund, he decided to finally do his job and packed my food that had been sitting there in the warmer, for a few minutes now. I had watch them cooked new meat and waited a few minutes after that before asking if my food was rwsdy and it had been sitting there for at least 5 minutes before being packed and hand it to me. I knew he meat wasnt the fresh meat either after walking to my car to eat it. The moral of the story is do not expect a good experience from this McDonald's, I suggest you travel a few miles and go to the one on Western Avenue in Augusta. Read moreThe McDonald's Application is definitely the way to go, even when ordering from inside the restaurant itself, using the application instead of the cashier. Not only do you get the variety of deals offered in the app, but for whatever reason the vice seems to be more time efficient (that doesn't necessarily mean better) than ordering off the menu inside. I found that (due to a lack of preparation and also forgetting my wallet) even parking, getting inside, opening up the application and determining which deal I was going to use, placing the order with all its substitutions and changes, then going back outside into my vehicle and making sure I was in the correct pick-up spot, and lastly receiving my food, was all faster than using the drive-thru in the 'old-fashioned' manner, as the vehicle that was in front of me when I pulled in had not even gotten to the pay window yet when I left the parking lot. I obviously did not take advantage of the application's more time efficient options or methods, but it still won over the more traditional means. And, to top it all off, there was not one mistake with my order. Had there been, pretty much only myself would have been to blame.
