Pizza Now - Aurora — Restaurant in Aurora Township

My time living in Aurora has been alright, at best. And if there is anything more comforting to me, food wise, it would be pizza. However, in my opinion, you could really mess up a pizza experience. Little Caesars Pizza is also in the area and they sell a large one topping pizza at a great price too. But, I have always thought that their product was just too greasy for my liking. Pizza Now is a small business pizza shop, just over the bridge from where I live. And they never miss. I've always had a good experience in there.

The dough is cooked just right, for me. Not too greasy, soft, yet a little crispy. And you can really enjoy the pizza, without feeling so nauseous afterwards.

I'm all in favor for small businesses, mom and pop shops, etc. They all have character and quality to show for it. Sometimes, I believe large businesses and franchises lose their sense of home and connection with everyday people in the community. This Pizza Now shop isn't cutting edge, isn't overly bombarded with marketing schemes on excessive deals, etc. It's simple and straight to the point. In addition, I have never had a problem with the staff. They all seem like pretty chill, prideful, hard working...

Never had a problem with this place. Till today, I always order online and my husband always goes and picks it up. I ordered the 3 pizza special, which includes obviously the 3 pizzas with whatever toppings, breadsticks, and a 2L soda. My husband did the pick up today, only to come across the person in the register saying I didn’t order the 3 pizza special, even though my husband said my name ( order was placed under my name) and was physically showing him the screenshot of the receipt. The employee continued saying no 3 pizza special was ordered and gave my husband an incorrect order. Employee only have my husband 2/3 pizzas, the pop, and the breadsticks. I called to the store to complain asking to speak to a manager and the employee did not give me a name or his own name. Tried to say I didn’t order the special AGAIN claiming he has the receipt. I responded with I have the receipt too. Overall this experience was very very unpleasant. Again never had a problem with this place until today and I been going there for 2+ years. Employee was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be going back...

It’s hard to support a business where the employees take the phone off the hook 25 minutes before closing on a Friday night, especially that there catch phrase is hungry now, pizza now and the average time for pick up is 10 minutes, everybody knows Friday’s are meant for late night pizza, it’s a shame people don’t know what it means to work for a living, how hard can your job be? It’s a pizza joint it’s all repetitive motion, one thing to the next, same thing everyday, you have one job to do, it’s not hard to take an order and cut the phone 5 minutes before close to do the closing duties, this is definitely the best way to lose customers.I also got hung up on the last time I ordered. The pizza is good but everything about there work ethic is sub par, except for the owner running the shop, no fault of his own, his hands are tied because you can’t get people to work in Aurora, even if...
