Mr. Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Elgin

Mr. Hibachi Express is a gem! The food is made with fresh ingredients and the flavor combinations really hit the spot. Prices are more than fair for the quality and portion sizes — the burrito alone was big enough to cover both lunch and dinner for me. One thing I noticed and truly appreciate is that they don’t ask for tips, though in this case I honestly wouldn’t mind giving one because the service is that good.

The fried sushi rolls are a huge plus, and the customer service here is unbeatable. You can actually hear customers coming back, which says it all — good food and great service, 10/10. Oh, and if they ever add salsa macha to the menu…...

First and last time trying out these guys. I only got it because their reviews said it was some amazing food. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Nothing is worse than spending money on some NASTY and I mean NASTY food. The rice was hard and tasted burnt. The steak was chewy with no flavor. The chicken was dry. The shrimp also needed more flavor. The service was also horrible the kid who took our order knows nothing about customer service.
