5pizza Ogden — Restaurant in Aurora

So I have been coming to this place for several years now and my kids really love their affordable pizza so I always make extra trip from Naperville to come and pick them up. I have soly recommend this place to many of my friends and have ordered multiple times large orders ( 50 +) pizzas for school events, teenage parties and big family gatherings. Today I was faced with very angry , frazzled cook who came to the front desk and wanted to “ clarify my order “ that Front desk took and apsolutly understood and didn’t have any problems with. Only asks for 1 of the pizzas to have marinara and BBQ sauce mixed on the bottom of the pizza instead of BBQ sauce sprayed on top of ingredients and he was very upset and started pointing on the sign that’s on the front door of the store and trying to convince me that THIS YEAR EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED due to THIS particular order!!!! I tried calmly to explain him that this Allergy note doesn’t have anything to do with putting BBQsauce underneath or on TOP of ingredients?!? But he APSOLUTLY REFUSED to even discuss it!!! So I just smiled and told him to make it whatever is easiest for him and took my pizza home. I just wanted to share this EXPERIENCE so hopefully OWNER can talk to this person and explain to him that this is a very very wrong way to approach customer- especially customer who has been so loyal and serving as huge billboard for their business!!! Used to get pizza here all the time. I called in my order a few days ago, guy requested I pay upfront which was new to me. I had no issues with this even though I was just up the street. I asked for a sausage pizza with extras sauce. He was told me it would be $1.50 for extra sauce. This is 1/3 of what the entire pizza costs. They do not put much sauce on these cheap pizzas im guessing due to them not putting much cheese on them either. I think this is crazy, I just asked for a normal amount of sauce. I guess if you want a real pizza, you have to buy a real pizza. I went to dominos which had a much better deal and was way better then I remember. We stumbled across this restaurant when they were having their $3.99 (during COVID the price increased to $4.99, which is still a great price! ) Tuesday pizza deal. We have been going back nearly every Tuesday since! They got our order wrong once. Instead of sausage we got bacon! We are so happy that the mistake was made. I am so sorry for the person who got our sausage pizza. Now bacon is all that we order! One time we were given stuffed crust. Again we thought it was a mistake, since we weren't charged. However, we love that so much that's what we do each time since. (We later found out that it was a promotion.) Such happy mistakes have kept us going again and again!
