What a wonderful hidden gem in Aurora! I had the pleasure of dinining with several friends, and had known the owner who has managed a large chain Brazilian concept for many years before her and her husband opened this restaurant. The restaurant is nicely decorated and inviting. I was greeted warmly, and my friends and I were treated with such attentive service throughout our dining experience. The buffet selections were just right that expressed true homemade authenticity including about a dozen side salad options, the wonderful cheese bread, and fried yucca, and beans, rice, and 4 other hot dishes. The meats then came to the table fresh and prepared to our requested temperature. We were served a few sirloin options that were garlic, and spicy, bacon wrapped, chicken, some nice spicy smoked wings, pork belly, and pork loin, as much as we wanted. The special bottom sirlion was the real deal! The chimchurri sauce was homemade, as was the hot sauce. The buffet is ONLY served on Saturday and Sunday nights, and I suggest making a reservation. The cocktails are amazing. I had a custom Brazilian Sangria that was incredible! We also had a pitcher of Brazilian Lemonade. Desert was delicious. We tried a passion fruit curd that was to die for, a coconut curd, a mouse, and some very tasty Brazilian donuts with the perfect cup of coffee, not too dark and not too lite. During the week, though they do not have the buffet, they serve wonderful combo plates with your choice of sides sure not to disappoint. They offer catering and meals to businesses as well. Marcia and her husband and family serve up some of the best Brazilian food in the city. A little gem in Aurora definitely worth making a trip to try. Do make note the the buffet and all-u-can eat meats are only served on the weekend nights for dinner. Outside of these nights, they serve a menu of varied combo plates with your choice of side dishes, appetizers, drinks,...
Read moreWe came on an afternoon, about 2-3 hrs before closing.
We were promptly sat, but our waitress was busy talking to the table next to us for about 5 mins...which is far too long and any dining customer would be okay if you told them you have to greet this table and move on.
Anyways, we placed our drink orders and went to grab the food at the salad bar while they prep the meat.
The fried items were mislabeled so what we though was a fried rice ball, ended up being the veggie ball, etc. So if you're vegetarian, be careful as there are meat items there too that may be mislabeled. The beef fritter was okay, I'd say the best thing in this area was the cheese bread and veggie fritter.
The garlic oil is also a must have. they also ask if you want chili and chimichurri when you sit, say yes to both! The chili peppers are no joke, but they're so good.
The meats started coming by and they were all good. Some needed a bit more salt, but we can easily do that ourselves. The worst part was that most of the meats came out well done. We were never asked what our preference was or told that this meat would be well done. A lot of it became chewy and hard. The best thing was beef ribs, we didn't see it on their online menu, but glad they had it.
We became too full and wanted flan for to go. We asked our waitress and well, waited....and waited...and waited. The table next to us got their flan and was enjoying it even though we ordered it first. In fact, we never got the flan until the bartender came by and asked if we needed help. Guess what our waitress was doing? Talking...again.
Anyways, the bartender was amazing and we got our flan packed and ready to go.
Beware: they auto tip you at 20% so don't double tip them. I wished I could have tipped the bartender and meat servers directly vs any of it going to the waitress cause she was absolutely abysmal. I was a server before and could do a better job...
Read moreI've been here three times so far and planning to go back again soon!
The first time was in the middle of the week and I just popped into the restaurant to see what it was all about. I constantly drove past it but never felt the need to check it out until curiosity got the best of me. They were serving the typical menu that day and I ordered some items off the menu. I was genuinely taken by surprise by how GOOD the food was! the seasoning on everything I ordered was on point and every single item was delicious. Right then and there I added this restaurant to the rooster of places I frequent for food.
The second time I went was on the weekend. Again I was shocked to find out that they do all you can eat on the weekends. I've been to many Brazilian steak houses so the concept wasn't foreign to me, but for a relatively small restaurant to be doing it as well was a pleasant surprise. The food on their all you can eat was just as good, if not better, than their standard menu. I have no clue how they can afford to do it like the big Brazilian chains but they definitely hold their own.
The last time I was their was during their All You Can Eat. This time I was prepared and didn't eat before hand. Needless to say I left stuffed and happy. The food again was cooked to perfection as I learned to expect from this location.
If you are in town and are looking to sample some really good Brazilian food or if you are looking to get your grub on and eat until you pop this location is worth...
