July 2024 update 5 stars: so after previous update it took me a while to stop by but jave been there several times and the hostesses have been very smooth putting in list and promptly getting a table asap. I have received grwta service from arrival until end of meal. Today while i initially had some doubta was no exception.

Just happened to be in area and was unaware thwre was copa game about to start so it was pretty full house.

Despite the initial feeling food and service was provided and brought wirhin 15min +/- 2minutes. Which was exceptional considering the amount of of clients.

My waitress Sandra contributed in large part to an exceptional experience as she was welcoming, friendly, courteous and very professional in every part from taking order for drinks, food and checkout. Thank you for going above and beyond it shows you genuinely enjoy your job and providing the best service possible.

Update: just stopped by and the young hostess didn't seem too professional with a snarky attitude more concerned with chatting with another staff as said I simply said im good not with that attitude.

Ive always been surprised at how professional the staff has always been courteous welcoming, seemed like was bothered. 840pm sunday. Not gonna have a meal where any staff is already with an attitude before even sitting down. Dont put youth as hostesses it never has been the best idea wherever i've been to.

I had not been to this location; only been a few times to the smaller location on Dayton.

I finally got around to stop by; came mainly for the live music and it turned out a great overall experience.

To start out the location is fairly busy , however they have plenty of staff and the staff stay on top of their tasks, the wait was not bad after getting on the Waiting list.

The sound system for live music was tuned properly and Band playing was excellent.

Every staff member I noticed was attentive and provided courteous professional service.

It's been a long time since I've witnessed a restaurant that busy and so in sync and finely tuned as far as operations are concerned.

Just the service alone makes you want to come back.

The meanie is quite extensive and prices seemed very reasonable. Many options to choose from under $20.

I will definitely come back and try other dishes. I ordered an octopus in ajillo which was seasoned with I presume guajillo chiles and garlic.

Also ordered fish zarandeado with shrimp on top. Everything was cooked perfectly and rice was fluffy and delicious.

Highly recommend , live music I believe is mostly on weekend.

I've been aware of this location as they have done some truck meets and fundraiser...

Good food very expensive though and the servers do whatever they want at the time of charging you specially the tip look at your receipt because regardless of the size of the party they charge 18% period. Be very carefull when paying in two or more transactions specially when using cash and credit cards. This us the second time this happens to me so I don't believe in coincidences. Firs time I paid $58 and it was only a party of two they had already charge me the 18% so I gave her 40 in cash and the rest on a card. When she brought me the receipt to sign she added another 18% for the remaining 18.00 when I ask her why she replied the lady at the front made a mistake but that it was only 4 dollars more just to sign. She ended up giving me the difference in cash. This past week we went to celebrate a friend's birthday same thing happened we got a ticket of 321.00 which already included 18% tip.which was around $50.00 we gave her 165.00 in cash and the remaining 156.00on a card. This was a different server from last time. She brought me a ticket where she only applied 160 instead of the 165 plus she added 18% again which made it 28.80 more on tip. 78.80 tip on a 321.00 ticket it's insane. Of course I asked to fix it when she came back she still had only 160 instead of 156.00. I ended up getting the 4.00 back in cash. I don't believe she made a mistake I believe that because they see you order a beer they may think you don't pay attention. Please be very carefull when getting your ticket and I expect the owners to put some sort of control on servers because at least I am not going back there, tip is earned but owners let them add it regardless of the size of the party they know they are getting a tip regardless of the service they...

Amazing food, lovely service and fun live music! Coming here was such a delight. I tried to go to Seoul Korean BBQ but it was too busy and they said it could be an hour for the table so we came down the street and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and authentic. The service was nice and attentive even though they were extremely busy they were able to seat us right away. It had such a fun and upbeat atmosphere with live music. I'm so glad that I came here and I recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican food or a fun party vibe.

The dessert and coffee were pretty terrible I'm ngl. The coffee tasted like it had been on the burner for 3 weeks and the desert is edible if you are drunk.

The dishes did seem dirty I had a margarita that had old Tajin from someone else's drink on it and my coffee cup was sticky. As someone with OCD I tried to just ignore it haha.

They had a really fun celebration for birthdays and at least three or four people were celebrating. They have a cool firework sparkler and they come out and sing for you. And then it smells like fireworks and reminds you of the 4th of July. After the live music they had karaoke and it was fun to see everyone performing.

It was a really friendly vibe but they had some serious security so I'm not sure if things tend to pop off a little...
