The Best!! The wait at this 20 booth restaurant was about an hour with a line out the door. They've been here for years and you can tell from their ratings it's a local favorite that's well loved from people all over! The little restaurant is hidden in a small shopping strip next door to a Subway and across the street from a liquor store. The best hidden gems are found like this! But this one tries their best to take you away from the not so pretty out door view by creatively shielding their customers view of the outside parking lot with a wooden fence, to create a small outdoor patio with seats for the warmer weather, adorned with the yellow glow of Christmas lights. Step inside and you are taken back with the old 19th century, prohibition speak easy feel with the dimmed lights, leather pleated round booths, white table cloths and plants beautifully hung in each nook and cranny. Such a romantic setting or a great place to celebrate a get together with friends. You go inside and you don't feel out of place if you're dressed down in sweats or over dressed by wearing a Blazer. It's just that kind of feel. Once seated you are greeted with water and a smile while handing you their menu. It's not an overwhelming menu, but they have options for all! Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese food and let me tell you.. the delicious aroma that hugs your nose once you hit their front door has you already excited for what you're about to choose! We couldn't choose just 2 things to share.. we had to do this family style and just take the left overs home! We started with 2 Handmade ginger ales, the traditional Vietnamese spring rolls wrapped in a rice paper wrap stuffed with vermicelli noodles, leafy lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, shrimp and grilled pork. ($3.95), A cup of Blue Crab Soup ($3.95), A Cup of Hot n Sour Soup ($2.95), Chicken Wings ($9.95)... while we waited they brought us a complementary plate of fried curry sauced dumplings and their version of Crab Rangoon! Oh my it was soo delicious and we were pretty much stuffed now! But our food was coming... Matt got the Bun Bo Hue soup which is Beef brisket with rice noodles in a spicy beef broth. ($10.95) he said it was he most flavorful broth he's ever tried before! Considering how many pho places I've dragged him to, to review, that says a lot since he isn't usually a fan! He ate all his noodles miserably and had to take the broth home to go lol! I had to wait a bit for my dish to come out, personally I think they forgot my dish but they were so busy I understood. I received my Crispy Tofu with Spicy sesame sauce. ($11.95) it was sweeter than I expected and verrrry crispy on the outside and soft firm tofu on the inside. It was a delicious unexpected bite and I really enjoyed what I could eat of it! The side of white rice was a good contrast to kill the sweetness a bit. I only wish there were more vegetables. All in all.. we were two very happy customers who had no real complaints about anything. We found our new Asian spot and we want to come back and try everything else on the menu! When we were asking for our to go boxes our waitress was so kind enough to give Matt noodles to go for his soup, and both of us our drinks to go! The customer service here is amazing and the guy even remembered my name when we were in line to check out. I only told him once when I put my name on the wait list. Of all the people he checked out before us, I was impressed! They take such good care of you and really care about their customers experience!! If you're ever in the Aurora Area.. it's a MUST TRY!! But keep in mind.. they are only open Wednesday to Sunday 12pm to 8pm and they are busy every time! It's first come first serve, no reservation or online check in. So get there early!!

In a cozy nook with flair and fun, My friend and I, we’re number one. Every Wednesday night, it’s quite the spree, At a Vietnamese joint, where the staff is glee. We waltz right in, like we own the place, "Hey, it's you guys!" with a smiley face. Free apps and drinks? It’s heaven’s door, Spring rolls and pho, who could ask for more? The staff's so chill, they float on air, Serving up laughs with a noodle flair. Their zen-like moves, a sight to see, They serve with ease, like they’re in Tai Chi. We gobble up banh mi, stuffed to the brim, Laughing so hard, we’re working out at the gym. The pho's so hot, it fogs our specs, But iced coffee cools, what's coming next? We crack up at jokes, some old, some new, The staff joins in, it's a hullabaloo. Boba tea in hand, we toast to the night, In this noodle palace, everything’s right. It feels like home, but with more kick, And the staff? They’re awesome, quick-witted and slick. They make us feel like noodle VIPs, As we sip our drinks, and slurp with ease. The fun we have, it's off the charts, With noodle art and generous hearts. We play with chopsticks, like musical wands, And laugh so hard, we form tight bonds. So if you want fun and a belly so full, Join us on Wednesday, and enjoy the pull. It's a home away from home, with a Vietnamese twist, Our weekly laugh-fest, it can't be missed!

Probably the best lunch experience I have had in years.

There are a few places you go to and then you realize you have found a real gem. This is one. The house made ginger soda is a beautiful thing. My girlfriend and I got a couple appetizers to try. I had the muscle plate. It was wonderful. The muscles were perfectly seasoned and they were large and nothing like those small dinky things you see at other chain seafood places. These were solid. My girlfriend got the vegan egg rolls they were also fantastic. The owner (i presume) also gave us some chicken dumplings to try which were delightful. My girlfriend was talking about them on the drive home.

At this point in the meal we had essentially had a full dinner and could have left perfectly contented. However, then the entrees arrived.

My combo noodle bowl was a work of art. The curry my girlfriend ordered had such depth of flavor i was astonished.

We certainly over ate.

The food felt healthy and light and even though we over ate we didn't felt bogged down like you sometimes feel eating at other places.

The owner (I presume) explained that the curry was "southern style" and that no place makes them like this anywhere else. I certainly haven't tasted a curry this delicious...

It was inspiring to hear him talk about the food and his family's restaurant with such pride. Rightfully so. The food is top-tier.

Will be coming back soon and telling everyone who will listen to go and see for themselves.

P.S. The beef stew special with the baguette looks magical. I saw the person next to us order it and I'm sitting on my couch writing the review kicking myself for not...

Golden Saigon is hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the Denver metro area. Tucked away in Aurora, this family-owned gem offers an unforgettable dining experience filled with warmth, authenticity, and incredible flavors.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted like family. The service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The cozy, unpretentious atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy a comforting meal, whether you’re dining solo, with family, or meeting up with friends.

Now, let’s talk about the food—because it is phenomenal. Their pho is rich and aromatic, with a broth that’s clearly been simmered to perfection. The bò lúc lắc (shaking beef) is tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And if you’re a fan of fresh spring rolls, theirs are some of the best in town—light, crisp, and packed with vibrant flavors. The peanut sauce alone is worth the trip!

Beyond the classics, Golden Saigon also offers standout dishes like their lemongrass chicken, clay pot catfish, and an excellent selection of vegetarian options. Every dish bursts with authentic flavors, and you can tell they put love and care into their cooking.

What sets this place apart is not just the quality of the food but the overall experience. The owners and staff truly go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels valued, and that’s rare to find these days.

If you’re in the Aurora area and craving top-notch Vietnamese cuisine, do yourself a favor and visit Golden Saigon. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning...
