Was in the area this past weekend and I'm very glad to try this new spot for me instead of my usual in the area.
I was surprised as upon entry someone greeted me and promptly seated me. The atmosphere had some music which was at an enjoyable volume where one can hastily have a converstion.
While at first it seemed it was taking bit long for waitress to come she was busy waiting tables and in reality it hadn't been long but the fact I was hungry due to being my first meal quite late in the day.
Once she approached he'd I asked for an appetizer for the very reason to have something to munch on besides chips and cabbage dip slaw.
The chip and salsa were decent and the slaw is also nice addition. I ordered horchata which I rarely do because it difficult finding a place that does a great horchata.
I ordered the chilaquiles chose green and carne asada with over medium eggs.
The appetizer chorizo con queso which to my surprise didn't come with rotillas but they quickly offered and brought me couple of the as I indicated.
I very much e joyed the chorizo be cause again the flavor was not overpowering but enjoyable and the texture of the cheese was runny which I preferred to funding or griddled cheese.
The chilaquiles were crispy the right amount obviously when you smother the sauce will not be completely crispy but it they were better than most restaurant I've ordered at with the right amount of sauce. The eggs to my surprise were also done perfectly something that even breakfast places can't seem to get correctly. The. Are asada was also cooked properly.
I very much enjoyed the meal. While it was not a bold flavor I can say the flavors were just right to appeal to a wide array of persons and nothing o empowered the rest of the items which is good as all the flavor or's were well balanced. Sometimes you can start with a bold tasting appetizer only to feel like the main meal is bland but that didn't happen here and that's why I was very happy with the service and planner in which food was prepared. The atmosphere seemed pretty relax and welcoming . I would highly recommend you stop by and give it a try.
If at all my only gripe is there are not many ala carte items or dishes under $15 just FYI. While tacos are sold ala carte the price may seem. It higher than expected but all amd all they seem to provide ide excellent service and food.

Read moreI love Tequileños and I have been there countless times. Never have I experienced anything like today.
I placed an order for pick up, i wanted 2 single tacos and an order of rice and beans on the side. I went in to pick it up and even though i was told it would take 10 mins it took 30 and the restaurant was empty.
Before paying i asked the girl if there was onion and cilantro on the side and she seemed so confused as to why i would need that. I asked if i could get tomatillo sauce and she then said they didn't have any. Like I mentioned earlier I have been in there too many times to know what is on their menu.
She finally got me what I wanted then I took a sip of my drink, horchata and it was not sweet at all. I asked if I could get a different drink and she said sure. When she came back I took the lid off the cup and there was still horchata left in there.
I was pretty annoyed by this point. I asked if she has used the same cup and she just said "no, no it is a different one." I am not dumb and I can even still taste the water in my dr.pepper.
She then charged me, drove away and get home to eat. I find a taco with rice beans and guacamole, another taco with rice beans and guacamole and another order of rice and beans!!!!
Not sure what made her think I wanted 3 orders of rice and beans because when I put in the order I said i wanted 2 tacos and rice & beans. I didn't say i want two taco combos and then rice and beans. I am so mad at this girl!!!!!
If you are going to work somewhere PLEASE KNOW THE MENU ITEMS!!! I wished I lived closer so I can go back and return all this food and get my money back.
I love this restaurant but this girl with red hair needs A LOT more training!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure she gets the...
Read moreI've been coming here for 20 years. New bartender - Jessica. She makes sure to have conversations with the spanish speaking patrons at the bar but PURPOSEFULLY ignores my husband and I for 15 minutes who are not spanish speaking. We sat there for at least 15 minutes and she pretended like we didn't even exist. She didn't make eye contact and pretends that we are not in the restaurant. I also noticed that she's sneezing, digging in her nose the whole time we're at the bar. We've been here for two hours and not ONCE has she washed her hands. Furthermore, as I'm talking to my husband, she starts listening to my conversation with my husband and turns around and makes a comment about the conversation that I'm having with MY HUSBAND. She didn't have the right to listen to my conversation and insert herself in business that did not belong to her. I've never had ONE PROBLEM at this restaurant in the last 20 years. It's clear that she would rather serve Spanish speaking patrons and ignore those that don't speak her language but more important than that, I'm more concerned about this bartender that has been sneezing and digging in her nose for two and a half hours and hasn't washed her hands NOT EVEN ONE TIME.
Manager - if you don't believe what I'm saying, go back and look at the cameras on 8/1 from 7:30 to approximately 9:00 p.m. You will also see in the cameras that I never said one word to this lady. I was having a conversation with MY HUSBAND. She had no right to insert herself in my conversation. Furthermore, If the health department were to see the video where she's sneezing without covering her mouth and digging in her nose, and during that time period, never washed her hands, as the manager, I think you would be...
