La Costera Grilled Chicken — Restaurant in Aurora

I came here with my brother we were first people in. We ordered a torta and chili fries the torta they sent us home with turned out to be a burrito so I called and wasn’t upset but explained what happend they took a while cooking the first time but we waited patiently only to leave with the wrong items. He then says oh mann well Come back later I’ll make you one and Let you have the burrito my bro don’t like burritos I told them no thanks I’ll be rite there for my torta they already had customers so they sent me home with a torta man you know they didn’t Give a fk they sent me back with a plain ass torta a flat bread !! I was shocked lol I’m not even playing it was so flat no nothing added but beans and meat think mayo lol argh the chili fries have this after taste and when it was a take out order she gave me the fries with Saran Wrap lmao !!!never again do not recommend. The fact he told me to come back later was poor service....

This place is essential. The smoked chicken is so flavorful and perfectly cooked. It falls right off the bone and tastes so good. The chicken comes with rice, beans, salad, salsa and tortillas, so you can eat them as sides or make little tacos. Everything is so good. I got a half chicken. You could split this with a friend or just snack on it solo throughout the day. You can get a while bird too so def a good way to feed the family affordably. The only other thing I had here was a chicken burrito which was also good. Lots of fresh veggies in there and good hot salsa to spice it up. I would like to try other things but will likely stick mostly with the whole chicken because it is just too good to pass up. Do yourself a favor and eat here, you will be so...

I love this place, but like every restaurant out there, it's not perfect. I can count 3 times, including today, I've drove to La Costera and they were closed, when it says online that they are open. Call them before to ensure that they are open. Their chicken is delicious and I love their rice and beans.The owners and employees are great people! One thing that I don't like is that sometimes the chicken is seasoned and sometimes it's not. Also, one time I ordered and paid for an extra rice and they gave me two salad plates with rice on it; I didn't notice it until I got home. I can't give them anything less than 5 stars because when the chicken is seasoned and grilled....it's so delicious and I loveeee the rice...
