Tacos Y Tortas Valentin — Restaurant in Aurora

I visited around 5:15 on a Thursday and it was essentially empty- which at that time of day it's expected. I saw a couple wrapping up their meal and another person leave with an order to-go. The place is clean and has plenty of seating. Accessible.

I wanted gorditas and I am SO happy I found a good place to order authentic gorditas. I only got chicharron verde woth beans & cheese because that's what I like. They asked if I wanted corn or flour gorditas - I asked what they recommended and they said flour. That's what you should order, I'm sure the corn are good, but you HAVE to understand that Northern Mexico is known for doing flour tortillas and flour gorditas.

Now for the food. Y'all it was so GOOD. The chicharron verde is on point. It's not chicharron prensado, meaty, but it's good flavor. The beans were good and the cheese was gooey. The salsas that they have for yiu are fresh, flavorful, and spicy.

Don't sleep on Tortas Y Tacos Valentin, yall.

I've had many a gordita from Durango and Chihuahua in my day - so when I tell you tgat these are GOOD and authentic......

They have to be more humble to people who are in need. For example there was a homeless man hungry and trying to get some food. If it weren’t for another costumer offering to buy him food he would have never been able to eat. Even with that the employees gave the homeless and the costumer paying for his meal a bad look. Even when I bought his drink I got a bad look from the cashier like if she was bothered by me buying the homeless man a drink. Another thing to mention is that none of the employees wear gloves and often scratch their noses without washing...

I recently placed a post on Fb of a taco stand that I thought was really good. I’m from here in the US and spent some in Juarez Mexico and also spent some time in San Antonio Texas.
