My parents were from Guatemala, so this place is like a touch of family. I opened the packet of thick tortillas, thicker than you get at Mexican places, and immediately thought of mom. They came with my caldo de gallina, a deeply flavored and garlicky broth, with half an avocado and rice on the side, just like home. I wish the chicken breast on the side had been more moist, though. It's probably better to just leave the parts in the broth. The flavor are outstanding. Super polite staff and very accommodating. This place also has a store in the restaurant with merchandise and groceries straight from Guatemala. The baked good are soo good and soo fresh you can smell them baking from the parking lot. If you've never had Guatemalan food I suggest you give their pork Tamales and Pupusas a go.
