I'm looking forward to visiting this Starbucks store the next time I am in CO to experience the friendly and exceptional customer service first hand that Nina and Kirsten the manager provided. I wish there was a higher star rating for this review as they deserve it!
Today I contacted the Starbucks Corporate Customer service at 800-23-Latte. I explained to the manager I rcvd a Denver souvenir mug from my Goddaughter and while washing it for the first time, a chip fell out from the inside lip of the mug. I asked if I could get another Denver mug mailed to me before my goddaughter's next visit. Enoch explained the best he could do was send a Starbucks card and I could purchase a different mug in a store in IL. I explained this was sentimental that it was gift from my goddaughter, he felt I could try these Denver locations myself to hunt one down. I could not believe they could not just order me another by the SKU#11002016. I was very upset with customer service I received from this supposed "CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE". I then started a search of the Denver Store's.
The Alameda Starbuck's in Aurora was the first store I called. I spoke with Nina who checked the shelf and found the last Denver mug. She took my name and address and would speak to her manager Kirsten about accommodating this request. Nina was the sweetest Barista ever, even sympathized about having family out of state. Kirsten the manager called back and arranged to ship the mug at no cost to me in the morning! WOW what amazing customer service, I will have it before my goddaughter visits. I want to express my deep appreciation for the attention and concern that was shown by Kirsten and Nina. I hope CORPORATE can take some customer service pointers from these two...
Read moreWorst customer service ever! The girl who claimed to be the manager(she had red hair) was soooo rude. She got my drink wrong after I waited close to 10 minutes and then told me I ordered it wrong. I got the same drink every time so I know I didn't. She fought with me about ordering my drink wrong. She then made me void everything instead of just making the correct drink. She said the other ladies would have to remake it but I watched her and she didn't tell anyone to redo it... so I waited another 10 minutes just watching people come in and out and receive their drinks. I believe the "manager" was trying to punish me for her mistake and just make me wait there. I have to admit I went off on her. I asked her how could YOU f up my drink and then make me wait for your mistake. I have NEVER received such horrible treatment from Starbucks or any other fast food place. I got a refund, left that Starbucks, and drove 15 minutes to another, and the employees could not have been more kind.
I just left a review about this Starbucks and then I go read the other reviews. This Starbucks is obviously by far the worst. I have NEVER seen so many 1-2 star ratings. Read moreThis is probably the fastest Starbucks that I've ever been to, even though sometimes it can get slow if a lot of people order breakfast because they only have one oven (the staff has told me that they have not been approved to get another oven). As a long time customer, I've gotten to know a lot of the staff here. Nina, Bethany, Naomi, and Kristen are always super friendly and ready for a conversation. Suzie, although she's not very chatty, makes the best-tasting drinks and is the quickest barista I've ever seen.
I only have a few complaints. First off, the night crew in the past few months have been awful. They seem to only be interested in talking to each other and I can hear them talk about bad customers from my seat in the lobby. Most of the nights I've been there, the area behind the counters have been filthy, like milk being left out of the fridge, drinks spilled on the counter, dirty pitchers and blenders. It's disgusting. Michelle is quick to get an attitude. The really young blond kid doesn't seem to care about anything and has even yawned loudly while taking my order. The really short dark-haired guy with thick glasses has a really bad attitude.
Overall, it's a great store to come in during the daytime, but don't bother coming in at night unless they fire...
