Read moreIf you care about reviews, read mine because I like to go in great depth about the consistency and quality of the places I go to. My god where do I start? Everything was perfect. #3 in my attempt to find the best Tom Yum Soup in Denver, I don't think I need to search any further. The menu was a bit small and simple (they have 12 or so varieties of "hot pots" and a handful of appetizers) but the soup itself was so complex and rich with massive amounts of ingredients that all blend together like a choir's crescendoing dissonant harmonies that resolve into a beautiful consonance symphony. It felt like I was reaching into a treasure chest and I just kept pulling more and more good stuff out of the soup. I assume you could opt out of certain ingredients, but I got the full experience. The broth was authentic and seafoody, delicious and mouthwatering. The steamed dumplings I got as an appetizer were small and a bit expensive but still amazing. The soups seem a bit expensive ($20-24) depending on what time you come and what type you get, however, when they come out the bowl is bigger than your head and you could absolutely split this with a friend or significant other. I took home half because there was no way I could finish it all. At the end of the meal, they also slide you a free desert (gelatinized fruit wrapped around vanilla ice cream with a chocolate drizzle) with the check. That's the food... Service? No words can say how phenomenally well trained the staff are. They are cool, confident, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, fast, caring, efficient, and I could go on and on. Maybe I came in on a good day and there are other staff members who might not be as amazing, but particularly Johnny was the man! (My name is John so there was an instant connection). It wasn't busy at all when I came in, in the early evening during a weekday. The atmosphere were just like the servers; cool, inviting, stylish, charming, modern, and clean. My god this is one of the best experiences I've ever had at a...
Read moreSo excited for my favorite Hot Pot place from Northern California to come to Colorado! And they hit the nail on it!
Food: The food was 5/5 amazing! I normally get the #2 but was recommended by the owner to try the #9 this time and that was amazing! I enjoy all the different variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, tofu in the bowl. I love that you have your own separate hotpot bowl to eat from and get to decide you own spice level. Flavor of the broth was delicious and the sauces they provide on the side is a MUST! I combine all 3 sauces together and it makes for the perfect dipping sauce. I highly recommend ordering some fish balls with roe on the side!
Service: The service there was top notch! The owners came to our table multiple times to make recommendations and cater to our taste bud. I went with a friend who is vegetarian, and the owners made additional recommendations to make his vegetarian hot pot even tastier. I was also recommended a boba drink by a fellow employee and that hit the spot. The wait time was a bit long when I went, which is understandable as the place is so good and I went on the weekend. But being able to order a boba while you wait to be seated is perfect. Ambience: The music and décor were top notch. It is a causal dining experience, allowing you to catch up with friends and family and enjoy high-tier food. Music volume was high enough to enjoy but low enough to be able to hear talking to your friends. The décor feels very modern, and they have a ton of Instagram-worthy angles. There are also tons of parking!
Other: I love that the owner occasionally have time to make sure everyone is having an enjoyable experience and make recommendations for...
