Having restaurant experience, I tend to be very understanding when I go out to eat. The issue here was that there was an issue with almost every dish. It started out well because the appetizer was great. The server was also really good however, it did take her a little too long for some things. For instance, she didn't take our food order until we were completely done with our appetizer. The main course was disappointing because both my steak and my husband's burger were well done when we both ordered medium. Sometimes a well done burger or steak can still be very tender and juicy, but that wasn't the case with these unfortunately. They were out of ice cream for the two desserts we ordered which was unfortunate but it happens and I was not upset about it at all. The desserts themselves though they tasted good, the doughnuts were overcooked and the chimichanga was amazing until I got to the center and it was cold. At that point, I felt that the issues were piling up and the server had already discounted the bill a couple times so I didn't say anything. There comes a point where discounting the bill can't overshadow the disappointing food itself. Honestly, we could have been the table where everything just happened to go wrong. I've seen it happen a lot so I would try this place again, the only problem is I live 30 minutes away so will I go out of way to give a restaurant a redemption that was so disappointing? No, here's why: There was a woman whom I believe was a manager because she wasn't wearing the same uniform as the servers and hosts. She ran food and drinks to our table a few times and every single time she did, her mask was pulled down so that both her nose and mouth were exposed. If she was the manager, that's the kind of leadership the employees are getting so will the next experience actually be better? If she's not, then it still speaks to the management for allowing an employee to be at every table...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsed to love this place but it has turned into an absolute crapshoot. We usually takeout though sometimes we dine in and we're here roughly once every few weeks, sometimes more. The food is good or it's terrible but that varies each time. Additionally, they must have the worst takeout service I've ever had. Literally every time something is wrong. Last time they took my order on the phone and FORGOT TO PUT IT IN so I showed up on time and had to wait for it to be made.
Tonight we got takeout and at least half the order was wrong. They missed an entire entree (online order and I have the receipt so it was not put in wrong), they missed the dressing for the salad, and they forgot all the kids' drinks. I caught the entree and missed the other two things but I'm so tired of having to triple check their work.
I've complained about this before, hoping they'll fix it. Their response was a credit for next time which the manager then didn't document with the serving staff so next time I came in they didn't have the credit on file.
The food here is solid most of the time but the operations issues have just stacked up too much now. I can't keep not knowing who gets to eat tonight when I bring...

Which is absolutely awesome and speaks on the owners morals, to an extent. The food was good but certainly nothing to write home either. What got me is they have a cash price and a credit price. Which to me is a pretty low thing to do. As a business when you accept debit and credit cards it is not your customers responsibility to pay your pos fees that a company charges you for using their service. That's a genuine stab at customers who are trying to support your business and a blatant disregard for your responsibilities as an owner. While it was busy the dining area was incredibly noise. On par with a bar late at night. I would definitely recommend they invest in some sound paneling to help kill some of the sound waves to make it less noisy in there. Also ordered a hazy IPA, that was indeed an IPA but definitely not a "hazy" IPA. Our server was attentive and she did well given how busy it was. Overall I think 3 stars is a solid fair review of our dining experience. It is a nice little place and with some very minor adjustments could easily see a 4 or 5...
