To celebrate the start of school, we chose to eat at Bangkok Tokyo Asian Fusion to try something new. With ease of parking and one two free standing restaurants located within a Safeway stripmall. We were not disappointed! The restaurant itself is spacious, modern and inviting. So many menu options that fused Thai food with Japanese sushi items... a crowd pleaser for all! We ordered some apps, like edamame and crab cheese wontons and another shrimp octopus dish over carrots called Sunomono. Dinner consisted of 2 hand rolls, salmon roe and unagi (eel) as well as an osaka roll. We also ordered Tokyo Sesame Chicken, crispy and in a rich sauce with brocolli. Spicy basil eggplant with crispy tofu was delicious! A little coolness outside called for an aromatic jasmine tea that paired well with the meal. What made this experience so great was the service! Quick, kind, courteous and charasmatic! Looks like we have a new Thai/Japanese place...

Love this place! First thing, the food is always amazing. I've ordered so many different things and the food, quality and taste is phenomenal. Secondly, their customer service is incredible. I ordered directly through their website and my dinner was delivered by their employee. My food arrived, as always, quickly and still piping hot. Here's why I love this place ..they accidentally gave me white rice with my delivery, which wasnt a big deal, I just prefer brown rice. Please keep in mind that I did not call and complain, or request brown rice be delivered. However, 15 minutes later a delivery showed up with brown rice!! They realized that there was a mistake and made it right without me even asking them to or bringing it to anyones attention. So, yes besides the amazing food this place has amazing service, sincerely can't...

ordered express door dash and I could tell some of the sashimi pieces were definitely not fresh. Doordash is not cheap and to get a 'generous' larger piece of tuna than you would normally expect you can tell something is up when you put it in your mouth and its already darkened beyond what you would normally serve i had to spit it out because it was decomposed and not fresh. red snapper was decent as well as the salmon, the octopus though I would not recommend very sketchy and had to spit it out. I get they have to save costs but sunrise Asian in the same area has been much better for raw and fresh. the soup was also cold on express delivery and my wife did not like her sushi rolls as they contained ingredients not on the menu when ordering. overall very disappointing as we are new parents and can't go out. wont be...

Unfortunately, we were very underwhelmed by our food tonight. This is what $80 buys you at this restaurant. The sushi was very bland, despite the amount of ingredients that were contained in the rolls themselves. The Thai peanut sauce wasn’t sauce at all, rather it was just a scoop of peanut butter and some chili, and the Yushan chicken didn’t come with rice and was dry despite it having a lot of sauce. However, I will give them credit for their wontons and tako (octopus) rolls. They were delightful. We spoke to the manager about a refund, she was nice at first but argued a bit, became aggressive, but came to an agreement. We got $20 back and left. As a person who personally works in the food industry, they have some holes to fill. We don’t see ourselves coming back and recommend looking somewhere else.

We used to love this place! I’m not sure what happened but service and food was below average at best. The male server was inattentive, rude, and unfriendly. The sushi was decent. We order the salmon teriyaki bento box every time and the salmon is usually a nice size filet of salmon and yummy tempura. What we received tonight was convenience store quality. The salmon was flat as a pancake, cold, terrible. I told the server the food was cold, he kind of laughed at me, walked off and then brought another pancake thick salmon. We asked for tea refill, never received it. I guess we’ll find a new spot. So disappointing .
