I don’t see myself giving five star. Here are my reasons. I happy how flexible they are being starting my journey with pescatarian, instead of meat I had tofu instead. BUT, the portions and the price I don’t think it’s worthy. 1st - as you can see on the photo the pinakbet is so small portion for the price is $16.75 and i never had a pinakbet that is so dry and I feel like is onion pinakbet, I had a few string beans, bitter melon and egg plant and the rest is onions. 2nd - the kare kare the taste is good which what i’m expecting but then the portion and ingredients I had more onions too. When I look at ingredients it’s says shallots onion and not the regular ones or at least they should cut the onions smaller. Lastly the Turon NO ma’am $8.75 for the 3 small size unacceptable. I will try again next time and see if there is any changes and I will give my reviews again. I wish they can do better with the portions and ingredients. I get it that everything are high price right now but they should do better if they want to stay...
Read moreYolee J Filipino and Thai Restaurant has such a cozy and beautiful vibe—it feels super welcoming the moment you walk in! Our server was so sweet and checked on us often, which I really appreciated. The food took a bit longer than usual, but it made sense since they had lots of online orders and pickups.
The lumpia? So good! You get six perfectly bite-sized rolls, and they were extra tasty with the sweet and sour sauce—crispy, flavorful, and totally worth the wait!
My Beef Kare-Kare was missing bagoong, but it didn’t need it at all as it was already PERFECT (savory and perfectly sweet and you taste the yummy peanut sauce). My halo-halo was missing flan which made me sad, they didn’t have any flan during that time. That’s okay though.
Overall, my friends and I were very satisfied and I’d definitely recommend this...
Read moreI broke my phone on a trip and needed to replace my phone but I flew in late and the only T-Mobile store that closes at 9 is off Buckley. So on my way home, I saw the flag and store front for Yolee J, made a mental note, told my buddies. We went there on the next weekend before the dinner rush. There were still a lot of people dining when we arrived, they all left but it filled back up by the time we were done eating. I had the pansit palabok, it was really good; the taste was a little strange at first but the palabok grew on me as I ate more. My friend had the triple pork adobo, it looks a lot like thịt kho but the flavors are very different; he said it was very good. We plan to come back for the rad na (if they don't run out again). You...
