Taste of Philly — Restaurant in Aurora

Today was the first time we visited this location. The staff were friendly and inviting. I had a Green Chili Philly sandwich. The serving size was very generous. The steak was wonderful. The hoagie was fantastic and very fresh.

The only issue we noticed was the smell of the restaurant. It smelled like there is a drainage issue or bad water was used for cleaning. Hopefully it was just a one time issue. We will be back though. The sandwich was that good..

4/27/2023 UPDATE Returned to try it again and I bumped it up to 5 stars. The funky smell was gone. We ordered a Reuben, a Pizza Philly, a large fry, and 2 drinks. Total was just under $40. The food was killer and spot on. One of the best Reubens I’ve had in a long time. Fries were hot but could use a bit more seasoning. All considered, very enjoyable.

• 5/22/2023 UPDATE* Popped in for another visit. Had a hankering for a Green Chili Philly and I was not disappointed. Steam was billowing off the meat even after the first half was gone. Perfect. Also tried the Buffalo Chicken Philly. While I’m not s huge Buffalo fan this paired well with their Blue Cheese. And to the most important parts, dessert.. They tasted as good as they look. This was my second time ordering online at this location and it was the second time I arrived at their given time only to be told they hadn't even started my order yet. I said nothing during my first visit and I waited. She did not apologize for the delay, nor did she offer an explanation. There were only a few other customers; a couple were eating and the others were also waiting for their orders. This time, after I was told the order hadn't been started yet, I commented this is why I ordered online and I don't actually have the time to wait. She immediately got an attitude with me and told me they had been extra busy. There was exactly one customer in the place, and I saw him go inside while I was waiting in my car (you know, for the ready time I had been given). I told her again that I couldn't wait this time. I heard her saying negative comments as I walked out. Oh, and I got an alert that my card had still been charged shortly after I got home. I'm not a diva and I realize this is just a sandwich shop, but this is simply horrible service for any type of...

Go to subway so you can see how they make your sub. Find hair in my chef salad plus wrong cheese. My philly sub didn't have anything I wanted wrong cheese nothing at all I wanted in my sandwich. payed money just to give to trash can. I should of went to Colorado location never had a problem. Didn't want to post after a couple of days later but still mad tired of wasting money I work for. They get payed to make sure we are happy but not. will not be returning

Don't look for another reply : We are not going to sit here in chat about something your store did wrong why would I contact yall if y'all couldn't take care of other customers reviews. Im not crazy yall would say anything for a cover up. No I will not take this down in I want be returning to a nasty chef . God bless you in whoever your covering...
