We went to Bar Toti to try their all night happy hour on a Monday and it made for a lovely night! It is a small space, very intimate and cute. We sat outside at first before moving inside because of weather and both areas had a lovely ambiance. About the food - I’ll go into detail about each dish we got and why I gave it 3 stars. The hongos a la plancha comes highly recommended from both reviews and staff, however I wished I had gotten something else after trying it. The mushrooms that we were served were not the meaty, scored ones shown in other photos, ours looked and tasted overcooked and were swimming in oil. I don’t think this dish fit my personal tastes as it was mostly just very oily and rich, so if you also dislike those flavors, I don’t recommend it. Also, the burger didn’t live up to the hype for me, as I had heard it was one of the best smash burgers in town and it unfortunately was not a standout to me. I appreciate its uniqueness and the happy hour deal, but it was not exactly well executed - the bun took up most of my bites, it had an overpowering mustard flavor, and I could barely taste the ham. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because many other reviews rave about these dishes, so they could’ve just had an off night! We ordered the fries and the focaccia as well, both were good and the focaccia was beautiful but over-salted. The overall flavors of the menu are along the lines of these dishes, quite salty & oily with not much freshness or bright flavors. I’m hoping I’m the exception, but the food wasn’t amazing to me. The service was wonderful, all the staff are very accommodating and friendly! Special thank you to Steven, he was a great server.

The food was very good! So many unique flavors. Our favorites were the ratatouille and the Hongos a la plancha. Orchard spritiz: very good Espresso MIlano: it taste like a peppermint Cucumber gazpacho: it was good and refreshing but it would’ve probably been better served as a shooter Ratatouille: excellent! Very flavorful and fresh, the yogurt has the perfect sourness. Beets: just ok. You need a bite of everything to get the whole flavor. Hongos a la plancha: AMAZING! Very flavorful. The mushroom and herbs were super crispy. It is very rich but so good! Duck confit: it melts your mouth, well seasoned (maybe a hair salty), crispy skin, and the salad is so refreshing. However, $36 for a single duck leg?! Not sure that it is worth it La Galleta: it was good

Cute little gathering spot with some great cocktails. I’m not sure I would call it a restaurant and it’s not really a “bar atmosphere” either. Nonetheless, the food was good and drinks were great too. One suggestion would be to combine the olive plate with the cheese board and just add a few bucks to the cheese board. There was only one piece of cheese on the board but it was, in fact, delicious. Guess it was meant to be the star of the show! The burger was good. It was a unique take on the classic burger. The papas fritas were some of the best I’ve ever had. I could have eaten the whole plate by myself. I definitely think this would be a fun place to invite a large group and sit at the shared big table. I’d give Bar Toti a 4.7.

My partner and I wanted to go for our anniversary. We got there and it was busy which is expected on a Friday night so no biggie. When we get to order we told them that my partner was allergic to sunflower oil. We were told that practically all the dishes contained it,. They did offer us to order something from Este which was incredibly appreciated. We ended up getting the ceviche and some oysters from Este while I ordered the steak and focaccia from Toti. Most of our food comes out but not my steak and after around 30-40 minutes I went to ask if it was coming out soon but it turned out there was a mix up and they had ended up not cooking it. At that point I was ready to leave so we took the check and left. While they did apologize and say they would comp our drinks I found out they just comped 2 of the 4. Not the end of the world but paired that with servers not really checking in on us after we had ordered our food just made it seem like we weren’t as much of a priority as other customers that were sitting inside (we sat outdoors). It was disappointing since we had eaten here before and had a good experience but that was just a cocktail and appetizer at the time and the menu was also...

I have heard very good reviews of this place and I am surprised at the lacking execution of prior reviewed experiences. I truly feel that this meal was unsatisfactory as I am pescatarian and the only dish I could order was nixed after I had ordered it. They accomodated our request to sit outside because the a/c was blasting cold air, but the food came up way short of the expectations I had: server proceeds to describe the fish special and has “1 left”, I ask to add that to the table even though I hadn’t perused the menu, specialty cocktails were basic and bland, the starter and beet salad were good but the wagyu was almost half unpalatable fat. Overall, ambiance was the best aspect of this place and I had high expectations seeing as though the neighboring...
