Even though this location is super old, we have been going here for over fifteen years maybe ten times a year at the most, mainly during summer baseball season when are too exhausted to cook dinner. I never really had to urge to take time to complain about anything regarding this location, not even the occasionally cold food. Today was that day, I took the time to call BK Customer Service and write this review - service was that bad! The last few drive thru visits, there was a sweet guy working the drive thru, polite and friendly. Today must have been his day off. I pulled up to order, stated the combo number, and the on screen order view was wrong, no biggie, I told the lady it was the wrong combo number, and she ignored me. I tried to tell her again, the combo number is wrong, she said she will take it off the order later. Five minutes later, I was still trying to order the same combo by the number on the menu. She kept getting it wrong and opted to pick my drink option for me and said is that it? I tried to tell her again, the combo number was wrong and I did not pick a drink flavor yet, either. She then proceed to talk in Spanish to a co-worker and laughing not realizing I was Hispanic as well and could not only understand her, but could hear everything she just said through the intercom. I wanted to cancel the order and leave at this point, but at this location the drive thru does not have the option to get out the drive through lane, and there were cars behind me, so we could not reverse out. Another five minutes, and the order finally appeared right on the screen and she said to pull forward. I thought the nightmare was over, nope! There they are, the two workers that were talking about me in Spanish and took ten minutes to take a simple order. I give them my debit card, and they handed me my two drinks. Then handed me our food and then close the window and walk off. I had to wave them down to come back to the window to give me my debit card. They looked at my card by the register and hesitated, which made me very nervous they were going to keep it and not open the window. They finally open the window and said they need to swipe my card again. I told them no, as I already received an alert from my bank of the transaction and showed them the transaction on my banking app. They continued to yell and argue with me for another ten minutes stating I had to give them my card again to charge the food again since a receipt did not print. I asked to speak to a manager on duty. They stated he wasn't there. No manager was on duty. I asked them to call the GM at that point as I was not going to give them my debit card again after they were acting crazy. They started to tell me that they would have to unplug the card reader and it would take too long, and kept making excuses about running my card again. At that point, a female co-worker was pulled from the back and came to the drive thru window to ask what was going on. I explained her what was going on, and showed her the transaction on my app and stated how they were acting before she came to the window. The female co-worker from the back, immediately told the two drive thru workers, "Didn't you have this same issue three times already today with the card reader not printing a receipt and that once the customer shows their banking app proving the payment went through, you let them go!" They started to argue with her, and she had to keep explaining to them over and over, that I showed proof of payment and to let me go. She then called the GM and told them what was happening, and the GM cleared for me to go since proof of payment was provided. The two drive thru workers started to laugh, make faces, and expressions towards me as I asked for contact information to file a complaint. They ignored me, and at the point since they had wasted so much of my time, I stayed at the drive thru window until they came back and gave me contact information. This was way too much drama for a simple...
Read moreFor fast food I would give Burger King 4 out of 5 stars. But for this location, I really don't understand why they put the most angry person at the drive-through window dealing with customers. She got flustered and angry so quick and obviously couldn't control herself over something really small. I don't eat at Burger King every single day so I didn't know exactly what she meant when she asked which Burger I wanted. The only response I could give her was the double cheeseburger with bacon that's 2.99 on the menu. I wasn't being rude, I was speaking clearly, and I thought I ordered the correct Burger the only correct way i knew how. It's not a customer's fault they don't know every name of every specific Burger. We dont work there, she does. After a long silence I assume she was waiting for me to continue my order but when I did she cut me off and She was really rude to me for no reason. After she told me the price she cut me off from talking through the electronic Box and when I drove up to the window and asked why the price was so high. It was because she rang up a different Burger that I didn't want. No big deal, all she had to do was change it. I still wasn't mad. For some reason it was the end of the world to her and she couldn't complete the transaction and the manager had to take over. I really don't know why she got so angry. Maybe somthing in her personal life. Anyway, im sure anyone working there knows who im refering to. The rest of the employees seemed like they are used to apologizing for her, which they did.
My advise would be to keep her in the back flipping burgers and cleaning the floor/dishes. Anything but talk to ppl cause obviously she cant handle it. The rest of the staff have been nice. And the food is fairly quick. So ill give this location a 3 instead of the 1 star service...
Read moreWent through the drive through, realized after i got home they forgot a 10 piece nugget. Talked to a guy who said he'd write my name down and I could come get it later. Showed up about a week later and mentioned they forgot to give me my nuggets last time. The guy (i assume he was the manager, latino, chubby, piss poor attitude) tells me he didnt find my name in the back and he wouldn't give them to me because he didn't know if I was trying to get something for free or not (I had already ordered 10$ worth of food, the nuggets are like 1.39)
So there you have it, I basically got accused of being a thief by a burger king manager for asking for AN ITEM I HAD ALREADY PAYED FOR. He lost a customer for life over a buck thirty nine. What a joke, Burger King doesn't give a crap about it's customers or the way they're treated by the idiots they hire. Save yourself the trouble and literally eat anything else. You'll be better off karmically.
Oh and this didnt occur to me until later, The original order that got messed up was paid by card, I could've proven everything but the manager wasnt hearing it because I couldnt remember if it was thursday or friday I came in...
