Horrible delivery experience. Management handles response even more poorly.
Ordered food to be delivered during covid like I do from numerous restaurants. Food comes and delivery driver knocks on door and continues to knock. This is strange as usually food is left at the doorstep. We tell the delivery person to leave the food through the door. He knocks harder and harder and insists to open the door. My mistake here for opening the door, but I did and he actually crossed the door thresholds to tell me to sign the receipt. We had to push him back (contact) to get him behind the door. We told him to leave and we went signing anything.
After decontamination and calming our nerves I call the restaurant and speak to theirmanager to discuss this incident. I detail or the recounter like I did above and their response was "did you ask for no contact delivery." Out of all the responses I anticipated before calling, I never once assumed the restaurant was going to try and put the blame on me. I was outraged. The then tried to defend the reason he was asking for the signature because lots of people use stolen credit cards and they need a signature to protect themselves. I really couldn't believe the conversation I was having. They did apologize for his behaviors and said they would speak with him about this, but they could have taken a much better approach to it. I wish my story ended there...
About 1 hour later I received a call from an unknown number. Answered it after it called 3 times. It was the driver, calling to ask why I complained on him. This was the most unprofessional thing that has happened to me. Not only did the driver call me to argue with me on his actions, this call should never have happened in the first place. I then called the management back to yet again complain about the driver. This time they defended him by saying he just wanted to understand what he did wrong. When employees make mistakes, they don't call customers to ask questions. It's their Management's responsibility to fix the issues. At this point I was just fuming. And the management has the audacity to just say "let it go".
This review was written in response to "not letting it go". I don't write many reviews. I feel the need to share this one though as it really has affected me. I will no longer be dining at this establishment, and i hope you will consider this before ordering your next meal.
PS. China cafe, if you have such issues with stolen credit cards being used that you have to train delivery drivers to threaten customers for signatures, your doing business wrong. Join the 21st century on more secure payment methods like Apple pay,...

My Last Order 12/10/2016 -1 hour and 30 minutes for delivery to arrive. -Egg Roll was stale- took a bite and had to run to the trash to spit it out. -Soda is Flat -Sesame Chicken looked horrendous, soggy, watery, and pale looking. Tasted even worse. -It was like they took all the food off of the people's plates who dined in after they bussed the table and put it into to go boxes and delivered the food to me. -I got people's left overs. (DISGUSTING)
Worst Part (appalling management) -I called for a refund, manager was very disrespectfull, his tone and argumentative demeanor. He said that they made the food like they always made the food and that all he could do was give me 50% off my next order.
I said "I'm not gonna eat half the food so I want a full refund." -He said I would have to drive up there and hand my food back to them. In 2 years I've NEVER driven to their establishment, I've always had it delivered. But I jumped into my car and drove up there real quick.
-I've spent over $600 with them and they couldn't even give me a refund without arguing and hassling me. They have records of my take out history. -But the worst part wasn't the disgusting leftovers they delivered to me but the disrespectfull management and the lack of customer service. -I may never order delivery again cause moral of the story is you Never Know when you could be eating somebody else's leftovers and that leaves a bad taste in your mouth,...

I went here on the 8th of April and they charged my card twice for 2 meal at our table and they stated they could not refund me bc they didn't have one of the transactions on file but it showed up on my bank right away. 11 days later they charged me AGAIN for the meal that they charged me in error for. I called and the man on the other line literally laughed and said well thats not my problem, I cant refund you. And then stated it wasnt his problem and he did not care several times! I drove across town to the restaurant and surprise surprise they show yet again no transactions for that amount that I showed them had been charged on my card. After speaking with the bank it was not double charged accidentally on the banks end. How can you charge someone for something that they did not only use/eat but you did not authorize and sign for and it magically disappears in their system?! Long story short, someone kept my information and used it without my permission 11 days later FROM THE RESTAURANT. How is it ok for a business to ILLEGALLY keep your card information in their system without your knowledge and to charge you whenever. We filed a report with APD so we shall see what happens with these untrustworthy people and their business.
