I usually don’t leave reviews unless the experience is extremely good or bad — unfortunately, this one was bad. The in-store purchase went smoothly. I bought a gas dryer and an electric washer, and they offered delivery and hookup for $75. However, the delivery crew was not licensed to handle gas appliances. When they arrived, they refused to hook up the dryer because there was a cap on the gas line and they didn’t have the proper tool to remove it. Their manager told them to buy the right tool from Home Depot, so I waited about 45 minutes. Before they started again, I asked the manager if they were really capable of finishing the job; he assured me they could. After getting the tool, one worker struggled to remove the cap, then another took over and finally got it off — but right after that, we smelled gas. I told them to put the cap back and check for leaks, and they discovered a gas leak (not at the cap). It was alarming since there had been no leak before. I ended up calling an emergency plumber and paid $375 to fix the issue. It was a frightening experience having my home filled with the smell of gas. The next day, I went to the store to request reimbursement for the plumber, but the manager refused — even for part of the hookup fee. This was my first time purchasing a washer/dryer and from now on I will purchase all my appliances from neu appliances. The experience was great start to finish! I went in after two months of research and being intimidated at big box stores. I came across neu appliances online and I couldn't believe the reviews.... well believe it, they actually are amazing! Troy was super helpful in the store and answered all my questions honestly. He was very knowledgeable, wasn't pushy at all and let me take my time deciding. I bought a set for a great price and they scheduled me for installation the next day! The installation fee and equipment costs were the most reasonable I have come across. Charles and Ken came to install on time exactly as they had scheduled and were in and out in under an hour. They were super nice and very professional and didn't back down from any of the (many) challenges in getting the set around the maze that is my condo and up the stairs. They made sure everything was hooked up and working properly, (they even took the stickers off and cleaned the appliances so there wasn't any sticky residue!) and let me know multiple times that I could contact them if there were any issues. So my wife went into labor on Tuesday. That same day we checked into the hospital and our parents stayed at our place. During that time, the washer went out and stopped draining and we literally couldn’t do laundry with the several people that were staying at the house. So my mother in law informed me of the situation and said we would take care of it after the birth of our first child. My wife called Neu Appliances as they have fixed our stuff in the past and did so on short notice.

Long story short, not only did they come the very next morning, they fixed all of the issues with the washer all why we were al at the hospital. When they finished, they left and sent me a text that all repairs had been completed. When I asked him how we should pay for the services after replacing parts etc. they stated that it was simply on them as a congratulatory gift to us and our new child! I was floored...so much so that I had to do this review. They do solid work and are a personal company rather than just in it for the business and the money.
