I’m not exaggerating…this is the best taco truck in Austin area, even better than hyped up places (which we’ve been to). We popped by here after our dance class at Mavericks. They have late hours during the week-Monday - Thursday they are open till 11pm and Friday and Saturday they are open until midnight. We ordered the Birria Plate, tripa taco, barbacoa and campechano taco. Plus the hotdog…I’m not done yet, and a churro and the strawberry lemonade. All of it was freaking awesome. The birria tacos were crispy and full of flavor. The tacos, man, they had homemade tortillas, which put them over and above any taco I’ve ever had. The hot dog was delish, but with all that food, we sadly couldn’t finish it. Finally, (the fressert) the churro was SO good. Crispy, full of cajeta and delish. We will most definitely be returning. Also - everyone in the truck was so kind and helpful. Thanks for the recommendations!!

So we were wondering where to eat cause neither one of us wanted to cook… we were pleasantly surprised to get home and open the to-go containers. Whatever DD is doing in that trailer is next level. The Flautas were cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy, chicken full of flavor. The Empanadas had this fluffy crisp outside and the meat was tender and delicious. The birria tacos were spot on and trust that the consume was fantastic, even had some extra meat bits in it. The creama on top with the shredded lettuce and tomatoes was a nice touch. I’m really glad we chose this place, we will definitely make future visits!!! Thanks DD!! ❤️

We made off with an order of the quesabirrias for the second day in a row after trying the ones from another birria truck nearby. We also had the asada tacos as well as the pastor. Great tacos and although I was left wanting for the traditional double tortilla presentation, these guys made up for it with fresh corn tortillas they hammered out on the spot. The consome was a bit thicker, which I enjoyed, and allowed it to adhere to the tacos better. The red salsa was surprisingly hot and the green, refreshing. We’ll be back guys. Keep it up!
