The website glitched and submitted my order with a $25 tip. No biggie, I'll call them and figure it out, right? Wrong. Sat on the phone for 30 minutes without an answer. Get in my car, drive there, only to walk into a store blaring inappropriate music at high volume. Speak to one of the employees and he said he had to get someone who knew how to cancel an order. A guy named Jack came, gave me absolute attitude, would not make eye contact, would not let me just explain what happened. He kept going on about how their phone system is broken. Absolutely not. It was the volume of the music and him hiding in the back that failed the answering of the phone call. He finally offered to void the transaction and re-rang me back up for everything. Still didn't give me my drink. This is an absolute joke. This is also not the first time they've made mistakes on my order or failed to deliver food. They also never remember your sauce or icing nor do they ever look at your special instructions. There needs to be actual management on site because this is ridiculous. Thankfully he gave me a receipt of proof saying the $46 transaction was voided and would repopulate in my account. While I am not someone who demands something free when something goes wrong, I am someone who demands better customer service and civility. Read moreIn Austin at the Hampton inn for my daughter’s wedding the next day. We spent the day on Rainey Street parting and ended up back at the hotel with some of my guests and family. We decided to order dominoes at 8:30 PM so I called the number for the store that is .9 miles away from the hotel and they said they did not have an address for it. I had given them the address 6401 Highway 290 W. This for some reason still could not find a place to place the order. I hung up and called back again and got someone else and each time got placed on hold for lengthy period of time and was then disconnected. I will never ever ever ever or Domino’s Pizza again !!! Disappointed all of my guests and as far as I’m concerned it’s horrible customer service!!! Read moreThey brought me the wrong pizza, did not answer the phone. I was automatically transferred to a chat bot. When I told it my issue, it automatically transferred me back to the store. After a minute on hold it automatically disconnects me and tells me to call later. I reported the mistake on the app and was given rewards points which I can’t spend for a replacement pizza for 48 hours. So I spent an additional $20 for a replacement pizza.
Making a mistake is fine. It happens. But leaving your customer no method of getting in touch with you to get it fixed is obviously unacceptable. Pay actual people to answer your phones.
Update: I was offered a free large pizza and 2-liter soda as compensation for this order. However it is not available through the app and requires me to speak to someone at the store on the phone, which they are still...
