Hadn't been here in a while, maybe a 9 months to a year, and the entire visit was such a let down. We stood by the door about 5 minutes, ungreeted while waiters looked over at us and no one bothered trying to seat us. The restaurant wasn't very packed, so I can't even say "oh, well they are busy". I managed to over look this. Once seated, we placed outlr drink orders. When the waiter came back with drinks, I ordered krab puffs for the table and Boston sushi for my little one. Maybe 20 mins later, the krab puffs came out and my other daughter and I placed our order. I asked for the California Poke bowl and was told the waiter wasn't sure they had that, and he would ask and come back. My fault here, I hadn't looked at the hardback menu, I just knew I came in here wanting the poke bowl. The waiter never came back to say anything so i assumed everything was fine. Another 30 mins pass, still no sushi. Another waiter came by asking if we were ready to place or order. I thanked him but told him or order was already taken. He then took up the menus. A while later, he comes back and tells us there was never an order put in, all they had was the sushi and krab puffs. So we placed the order again. About 10 minutes after that, our original waiter came and asked if we needed anything. I asked about the sushi and he said he would go find out. Our main dishes come out and still NO SUSHI. I asked again and once again wad told they would look into it. Main dishes were barely lukewarm when they came out. Finally after waiting idk how long the sushi came out. My little one was so happy to finally get her food and it was Mother's Day so I didn't want to upset things by making a big deal about it but with a tab over 70 bucks in a non busy restaurant, I'd at least expect my food to 1)be hot and 2) come out in a decent amount of time, not spend 2 hours sitting in a booth on a Sunday late afternoon.

Had this been my fist time visiting, I'd have never wanted to back. Horrible experience, horrible service. Though the food was not warm, it did have a good flavor so they do get stars for that. We took the majority of our food home and will just nuke it tomorrow.

Hopefully next time we make the drive in, we have a better...

We really like the atmosphere and the sushi at this place. However, we had a very bad experience recently and I wish we had never spend the money and went elsewhere. Disappointing service experience that has ruined Eurasia for us. Food remains very good.

Our waitress service experience was very poor, unacceptable to most. We were being served by Yanty. And it takes a LOT for me to complain (which I did after we paid and tipped 18%) to a manager. She didn't deserve that amount, but I am empathetic to waiters and waitresses. We basically were constantly trying to chase down our waitress, who was extemely inattentive. She would just walk away very quickly and rarely ever made eye contact. Seems her job is to take an initial order....briskly walk away....only come back to deliver your food and only again to provide the bill.

We were initially seated and were never even asked what we wanted to drink. She simply filled our water glasses and quickly walked away. I was told to hold on / wait when I was able to catch her breeze by (we wanted to order drinks). My wife honestly thought it was a host.....and our waitress was eventually coming.

Once we were served our order when I wanted a beer, more ginger or a question about an item that we ordered....we were ignored. She never even looked in our direction. I waited and waited while we ate all our food and tried to get her attention. Even after saying "excuse me" and trying to wave a hand....no luck.

Very frustrating when you spend $100 on a nice meal but get crappy service. Ruined our most recent experience. We probably will try another sushi restaurant at this point. I hope they give her some training! No excuses IMO. It really is NOT hard to simply take a few seconds to look at...

I was super excited to try this place out seeing as to how the rating was so high. First sign I should’ve walked out was walking in and seeing branded tables. Place felt like one of those $10 Chinese buffets with a hint of Rush Hour thrown in. I figured what the heck, I’m here for the food, that’s all that matters. So sat down to order, immediately notice their prices are outrageous for the location. I’m off of 71, and they are charging more than at Barchi downtown. Again I pushed on thinking alright this food has got to be amazing (I mean, they’re not charging for the ambiance). I start with calamari, a sushi dinner tradition for my friends and I. They bring out a plate of those frozen calamari circles you get from Costco. Which threw me off, but they put a lot on the plate, and I was with a group of 3 other guys so we didn’t complain too much. Then we ordered their outrageously priced sushi. At this point, after the calamari we were all voicing our skepticism, but we carried on. It took them FOREVER to make the food, we were like the only ones in the restaurant too. Maybe a few other tables, but most of them already had their food. It finally comes out, honestly it wasn’t THAT bad, which is as far as I’m willing to go on complimenting the sushi. Maybe I caught them on a bad night or something, or maybe their other options are better than the sushi, but based on that first experience I don’t know if I’ll go back to find out. There are way too many delicious Asian/Sushi spots in Austin for that to happen.

Edit - Almost forgot, as if the sushi wasn’t already on the pricey side. This is the only sushi restaurant I have ever been to that charges...

I found this sushi restaurant while trying to find locations that offer Halibut as it's mine and my husbands favorite fish, and it is extremely hard to find here in Texas. I had been begging to go here for months, and finally, my begging worked. When we pulled into the parking lot, my husband was apprehensive, and then when he walked in, he asked him how much money we were about to drop. The inside does not match the outside, so do not judge this book by its cover. When you enter, there is a beautiful full bar to the left, a sushi bar in the back, where you can sit and chat with the chefs, and comfortable tables and booths filling the rest of the space. My husband and I ordered the Baked Green Mussels and Avacado Bomb to start, pictured below. It was absolutely delicious and not over filling or spicy. For sushi, my husband ordered Bluefin Tuna, Fatty Yellowtail, Yellowtail, Fatty Tuna, Smoked Eel, Octopus, and Halibut, I ordered Salomon, Fatty Salmon, King Crab, Mssago, Tobiko, and Halibut. Every piece was beyond expectations. Our server Andy was kind, courteous, and professional. I was expecting to pay $300. We were not aware of the extensive lunch and happy hour menu. We will definitely make the 1 hour trip.

100% Satisfaction: Food, Service, Prices, Ambiance, Cleanliness This was my first time there. My wife and I received a gift certificate for our anniversary and had heard great things about it from a couple different people. Our waitress' name was Dewi, and she was pleasant and very attentive. Dewi was picking up trash before I even noticed it was there (I had just unwrapped my chopsticks, and she walked by, noticed it, took it for me). She made great recommendations and knew the menu! The Food! I apologize for the pictures; usually I take better ones, but I actually forgot that I wanted to take pictures until after I had started eating...... Anyway, the salmon sashimi was so fresh and delicious (you CAN have bad sashimi). We also ate the Ika San Sai (Squid Salad) which was surprisingly and delightfully flavorful! The other picture is spicy tuna rolls and the Creamy Crawfish Hand Roll. We had other rolls too, and they were all very tasty :) THE CREAMY CRAWFISH HAND ROLL WAS BOMB - 11 Stars out of 10! I hope others find this review helpful, entertaining, or both; if neither... haters gonna hate while appreciaters gonna appreciate ^^

When it comes to ramen at sushi restaurants it has always been a subpar experience wherever I have gone and have generally taken to the rule go to a sushi restaurant for the sushi and ramen restaurant for ramen. But based on a word of mouth recommendation I decided to bend the rule one more time and was pleasantly surprised with Eurasia’s flying noodle ramen… from the quality of the broth to the presentation. The chashu and ajitama were cooked to perfection and both a delightful treat. Ramen Tatsuya has been my gold standard in Austin and even when traveling when it comes to comparing ramen. My recent experiences with Ramen Tatsuya have however been sadly disappointingly lackluster in both the quality of their ramen and service in general. I live in South Austin and it is great to see there is now a legit alternative serving quality ramen by way of Eurasia and I hope this serves as a wake up call to Ramen Tatsuya. Is a sushi restaurant also capable of serving a delicious bowl of ramen worth recommending you ask? As of now that answer is a sound “YES!” Way to go Eurasia!
