Hi Plucks. Sitting at your bar right now... this is my 4th time this week. We come here alot. We would consider ourselves regulars, but we seem to be coming less and less; and also losing more of the friend group that arw willing to join us here anymore. We used to love watching all sports at your establishment. Were Big fans as you can see from my tagging yall in my socials. We are the only people at the bar and watching the PGA championship- a major tournament. We asked the manager to turn the sound on for the PGA and she "has to ask permission to get the sound turned on for golf." We are the only ones here, but said if another guest walks in and requests another game we are more than happy to have them change it to something "less quiet and slow". Also we just asked for bar sound, not Dining room, so they can still have the music. Whats the issue? I see yall posting about voting for Plucks as best sports bar but I don't think you really care about sports. You have two sports fans here spending money and sound on for golf is all we want. It's so disheartening....Unfortunate new development. Not only were we denied golf sound- we were told no because it wasn't a highlighted/preferred game. Understood, you have obligation to highlight partnered games. So we asked "may we put the volume on whatever the highlighted game is on right now"? Turns out there is no highlighted game playing at the moment. Again....understood. So 3rd attempt: may we get the volume for Washington vs Baltimore Orioles game or Ole Miss vs. Univ. Of AZ softball (that actually is playing on your tvs). Still no. I don't understand. The customer seems to matter very little- but following a protocol even if it means not being able to enjoy ANY sports is more important. If there aren't any "featured/highlighted/preferred" games on at all times why can't we have the option to pick volume for a game you are actually showing on multiple TVs? So again we are trying to compromise... We pivoted and asked :can we turn the Preakness sound on when it comes on in an hour?" The manager's response was "thats not highlighted either." These are major sporting events and nothing else is being featured. In addition, you have these "official partnerships" with A&M and UT and don't carry SEC Network. And according to the manager the Astros and Rangers are considered partnerships but not "highlighted/featured" so again no sound?? You've taken away our sweet potato fries, spicy mandarin wing sauce, Mother-Plucker Size beers (34oz), and spicy green beans behind the bar and we still have come back. The sports aspect is just the hardest part to wrap my mind around. My business will not make or break this oak hill location, but yall make it hard to say anything nice about your...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE I've had at any restaurant!!!! I don't know about the other locations but you should definitely NOT order/go to this location. I do UberEats and had two orders assigned from this restaurant. I got there at exactly 10:40 p.m. I parked at the designated spot and called the number to the store for them to bring me the orders (as the instructions for this restaurant on the app stated). They said "we'll bring it out as soon as it's ready." OK, I waited patiently for 15 min... nothing. I called them back and asked if the orders were almost ready and they said they were still working on them. I asked how much longer and they said about another 5-10 min more. It was already 10:55 p.m. I waited another 15 min to give them time. NOTHING. I tried calling them back but the machine said they were already closed and weren't taking any calls at this time. This is when I decided to go up to the restaurant and ask them for my orders. I ran to the door to catch one of the workers that was cleaning up outside and he said he would check. I waited there another 10 min. NOTHING. I saw another employee inside by the doors and tried to get her attention and tell her I was waiting for an order. But she turned around as I was approaching and ignored me. I pounded on the glass and told her I had orders for UberEats. She motioned her hand across her neck saying they were closed. Keep in mind all the doors were closed at this time. Then another girl came out and told me the same thing and I quote, "We're already closed and we can't give out orders after 11" I explained to her that I had gotten there before closing and that it was an order for UberEats that was already paid. All she said was "Sorry we're not allowed to." Basically I had lost 50 min of my time there just waiting for these orders that they never gave me. Not only did I lose that time I lost money due to these people. I wasn't the only driver that they had turned away. I had to cancel the trip on the app and these people never got their food. I would be livid if it was them. If you have the option DO NOT order from this bunch of rude and incompetent people. You...
Read moreGooooood Evening, so we were originally giving a review 2 months ago for a free five wings which you could never pass up. Let’s be honest, 5 wings is 5 wings.
After this evening there’s no way I could allow my 5 star to continue to be present in their reviews. So where to start as to why?
We waited to be seated as there was no one at the front. The server ended up coming up to help us, and went to check if the table was clean before we could go with him. He changed our table to a clean table.
We ordered all of our meal, app, drinks, food at the start since we frequent pluckers pretty often. Our new waiter wasn’t very personable kinda killing the vibe.
We got our app prior to our drinks within 2 minutes of ordering. We then waited 32 minutes before getting our drinks even when trying to flag our waiter down.
We received our wings and sides. Finally ready to dig in, the cheese fries were already tough for sitting for long, sauces were incorrect, chips were soggy. Best part was the celery. We sent back the wings to get the correct sauces. When they came back they weren’t the right kind of wings. After eating a couple we decided to leave without completing our meals.
While waiting for the server. We realized the table next to us had left 25 minutes prior and no one had bussed it. Also one of the waitresses was a bit overweight and had their stomach showing, this happens but team members should make each other aware of when there’s an issue.
Finally we flagged our waiter down to get the bill, he messed up the bill and the first total was 20 dollars higher than the total we were charge. We’re glad we checked it prior to paying.
What needs to happen is training and create an atmosphere where team members help and support one another while having a good time. Please don’t make this a consistent issue! There’s a difference between a moment of a mishap and a series. Get...
