Donut & Kolache Express — Restaurant in Austin

Unfortunately, I probably won’t be coming here again. It was my first time visiting. The service was poor. I gave 3 stars because the food that I got to eat was decent. I ordered 2 eclairs and the girl bagged them on top of one another so on one of the all of the icing in on the bag and the other one the icing is on the bottom of the top one. I’m just disappointed in the whole experience.

EDIT* I would now give this place ZERO stars if I could. Just bit into one of the eclairs that was supposed to be Bavarian cream and it’s jelly. The girl I spoke to on the phone was so incredibly rude! All I did was ask for a replacement and she told me to come back now. When I told her I was already home and would not be returning today she let out a huge sigh of annoyance like I was inconveniencing her. I’m pretty sure you all making my order wrong is an inconvenience to me, not you. Don’t bother going here unless you want mediocre food and some of the worst service you...

This is my new favorite place - the kolaches are EXCELLENT - we had: Sausage cheese (long) - RECOMMEND! Sausage egg cheese (round) Potato egg jalepeno (round) - RECOMMEND! Apple (round) - RECOMMEND! They were all super fresh and well made and the ladies at the counter couldn't be nicer.

My only ding was the donut - got a chocolate donut that was extremely fresh and sweetened just right, but the oil used to fry it had a little bit of a strongish aftertaste to it. That could be due to a number of reasons - type of oil, whether this oil was used to fry a number of items beforehand or other items were fried alongside the donuts. A simple swapping of the oil more often or changing the type of oil should do the trick.

All in all, great place, highly highly recommend the kolaches. For vegetarians (who eat dairy/eggs), the vegetarian kolaches were honestly as good or better than the meat ones, so you will definitely be as happy as your...

You guys shouldn't let kids run your business, I've always come to you guys because of your ham and croissant wraps and star shaped donuts (trivial I know but they make my 5 year old happy). I came today through the drive through and not only was I charged for regular kolaches the first time and was more than happy to pay again for the wraps I wasnt informed they didnt make the regular wraps and was given the ham egg and cheese sandwiches, that not only completely different from what I ordered I also have egg allergies with my my family so they cant even eat those. There were other issues but not worth discussing here. Seriously retrain your employees on how to inform customers about products you dont carry and make sure they arent just giving out things that arent asked for. I'm so disappointed I probably will...
