I put a one star because I have supported this business for awhile now. My gf and I just had went there grabbed two drinks and went togo sit outside. Mind thier are renovations going on. When you have a business the number one thing is Customer service and making sure the customer is comfortable and enjoys the time they spend at your establishment. We had to stand because Half the outside had no seating. My question to the owner right now... would you buy another drink if you are going to sit down and buy a drink to sip on and have a conversation? The answer is simple NO. You are loosing out on sales. Where someone would have spent money on 4 drinks is now spending money on two. I Suggests that you quickly invest in at least 20 of the cheapest plastic chairs to make the customer experience better and capture the $$ that you are now loosing due to the situation. This situation is temporary I understand but if you are a leader and care about your business you do the right thing. This makes me question the business. I hope that you guys can pivot and...
Read moreAt La Holly, it feels like the bar and taqueria are competing against each other to make their respective customer as happy as possible. The real winners are anyone that comes to visit, but I’d give the taqueria a slight advantage.
With any taco, it always comes down to the base, the taco, and the fresh tortillas at La Holly make all the difference. My wife and I had the shrimp, brisket, carne asada, chori queso and fish al pastor tacos. My favorites were the carne asada (which had perfectly seasoned meat) and brisket (which had the best combinations of flavors and ingredients), but the shrimp and queso tacos were also excellent. While the fish al pastor taco was an interesting combination, it wasn’t as memorable as the other tacos.
On the drinks side, the micheladas are extremely balanced with a perfect combination of salty, limey, tomatoe-y and spicy flavors. The Oaxacan wipeout and spicy frozen marg were...
Read moreI really enjoyed my visit here. Ask for James - he was very kind and made great conversation. All of our drinks were really good, and the fresh made jalapeño margarita was legitimately spicy. Definitely lived up to its expectation. To order food, you use your phone by scanning a QR code on the menu and order separately from the bar. Your food comes out from the food trucker parked outside. The guacamole was very yummy, and fresh, as well as the chips. This place is very dog friendly. It is very cute, and quaint. It’s a really great happy hour spot to chill and listen to some great music while enjoying some fresh made drinks and snacks. They had a small, but really good beer selection. I felt very welcomed and comfortable here. The staff was really nice and kept the place clean. I will definitely be...
