These people have no clue how to use their own app… I use this app at least once a week or two and never have much of a problem… these ladies do not listen… first off when I was at the speaker, usually they ask if you are using a code…. She did not… she asked if I was ready to order and I said “I have a drive-through code. “ She said “you want an ice cream cone?“ and I said “no, I have a drive-through code.” this went on a couple times with the exact same words and then she said “pull up to the first window.” I get to the first window and she’s trying to have me pay for somebody else’s order, I said “that that’s not my order. I haven’t ordered yet. You told me to come to the first window.” She said “what you want?” I said I have a “drive-through code” and I show it to her and she says “it no work, give me another code…. “ I said “my app just said the restaurant accepted my code, so now you have to put in my order…” She said “no, you have to give me a different code.” I said “no, you put that code in and my app just said you accepted it, now you have to put in my order so it can use the deal on my app now…” She said “no, you have to give me a different code.” I said “no, you have to put in my order”and she said “no give me a different code” so I said fine , so I refresh the app and gave her a different code and it would no longer let me use the once a week deal because it said I already used it today!!!! I already used it today? No, I didn’t… this lady at the drive thru INSISTED I GIVE HER ANOTHER CODE… when I already knew my app told me the restaurant accepted the code and all she had to do was start putting in the food order… I ordered a 10-piece chicken nuggets and a large strawberry banana smoothie… she was charging me full price for everything and said “you only get points”… I said “that’s because the first code was the one with the discount and you made me give you another one” … She didn’t understand what I was saying so she gets a manager over there and the manager starts telling me that they have my code and that it’s only for points and I started to tell her I know that because I gave her the right code the first time and she wouldn’t put the order in because she insisted I give her another code… The manager said “it’s not her, it’s the app”… I said it’s not the app, the app said you accepted the code… then she should have started to put in the order and everything would have been fine, I do this all the time and I know how it is you order with the code and then they put in the food and then the discount comes up and then you pay. But they didn’t understand and she kept saying “no you’re only getting points for this. It’s the app” and I said “it’s not the app it’s because she had me give her a second code. The first code was already accepted by the restaurant, but there’s no order there because you made me give you a second code and now I can’t use the code that I had for the deal that I had” and now she’s trying to charge me full price and I kept saying that’s not the right total. I haven’t used it already, I’m still here in the drive-through in the same place I was when I tried to order it the first time so I just left. Thank you for nothing, now I can’t use this deal til next week because you could only use it once a week! I’m giving this McDonald’s a one star rating and then it asked me to rate the food … you get one star for food because I didn’t get any, you get one star for service because I didn’t get that either and you get one star for atmosphere because the atmosphere, quite frankly, is frustrating… It’s sad when a customer that uses your app all the time knows how the app works better than the employees at the restaurant. Next time stick to your script… like every other restaurant “Welcome to McDonald’s, will you be using a code today?” Maybe you’ll do better. Here are your two employees laughing at me. My current points 8140 … I don’t need more points… just wanted to use my deal… Have...
Read moreI wish Zero stars was an option. I was the only customer inside. The manager as yelling at an employee from the front to the back of the store about taking orders for honey barbecue when they did not have honey barbecue. She and the rest of the staff were all laughing as apparently taking orders for a product that they did not have was funny. Extremely unprofessional. No effort to correct the employee. Just ridicule her to the amusement of the staff. Very disrespectful to me as a customer to act that way in front of me.I was offended. No concern for the customer who though they were getting Honey barbecue, just a big joke. I tried to get tea, no tea, neither sweet or unsweet. I let same manager know and she said, "We got no sweet tea."No apology. Very rude and unprofessional. I noticed that the floor was filthy. Filthy. Trash, spilled liquids, French fries that had been stepped on and smeared all over the place. I pointed at the floor and commented that it did not look good. The manager looked shocked and said, " We are short staffed." I was the only customers inside & 3 employees were standing there doing absolutely nothing, just standing around laughing about the order taker taking orders for product they did not have. No apology. Rude. Unprofessional. They have time to laugh about their incompetent colleague, but can't be bothered to at least pick up the trash all over the floor. She then gave me some unsweet tea. I looked for sweetener. None. I asked the young man why there were no sweeteners, and he said, " We don't put them out." I asked why, no reply.Blank stare. I asked for sweet& lo, he looked under the counter and said, "We ain't got any."Iasked for any sweetener they have.He then reached under the counter and pulls out an empty container and just looked at me blankly. Rude, unprofessional. No effort to find any sweeteners. I said it was ok, I have sweeteners at home. Meanwhile the manager and staff were, just standing there, in shock that a customer would expect customer service. No effort to pick up the trash and French fries all over the floor. Or mop up the spills. I took the tea home. It was like water. I poured it down the sink. Very bad experience. Ray Kroc would be ashamed. Next time, Whataburger, where they treat me with respect, and have fresh tea& sweeteners. I will never, ever give these people any of my money ever again. Never, ever. McDonald's used to be good....
Read moreI had a mixed experience when I went to this location. I ordered and paid for three items: sausage biscuit, sausage biscuit with egg, and a hash brown. I was very frustrated because I actually had to repeat my order four times at the speaker has the gentleman taking my order could not seem to grasp the concept I was trying to convey but It ultimately showed up correctly on the screen. I then asked the young lady at the window collecting my money to repeat the order and she did correctly. When's at the window to get my food, I let them know that something may be wrong with the speaker as the gentleman could not hear me clearly apparently to which they replied that the speaker was working perfectly loud and clear. Ultimately I was handed (by the same guy who could not understand what I was ordering at the despite being a native English speaker) a biscuit with cheese, an egg mcmuffin, and about 50 napkins at the drive-thru.
Needless to say I was unhappy and went inside to rectify the situation. Luckily the shift manager was at the counter and I explained what happened.
The shift manager gave me exactly what I had ordered and paid for and would not take the incorrect order back so I was able to give the extra food to a homeless man on the corner to enjoy. Because of the help from the shift manager and not being charged for anything extra, their score jumped back into the positive range otherwise they would have been at one stars across the board. She did mention that She did mention that the guy taking the order was new, however I have a feeling that this was a boilerplate answer to try and pacify any upset customers and that they use it often even if they don't have new employees working. If they did, probably not a good idea to have him running the drive-thru at a busy location during the breakfast rush on a Sunday before church. But what do I know.
They made the order right despite it taking 15 minutes and me having to go inside but I got what I...
