I had a Door Dash order to pick up and after waiting for over 18 minutes I was informed that they burned the pizza and that it would take 6 minutes for another one to be made. It took another 20 minutes before the order was ready. Then the female that works there says that I have to have a pizza bag in order to take the order out of the store (which is not a requirement per Door Dash). I told her that I had one in car ( the one that Door Dash sends all the delivery drivers). She insisted that I get the bag, mind you the customer has been waiting on this order far too long as is and they are concerned with a bag? I got the bag and started putting the pizza in it. As I was doing so the female worker says I need to confirm the order to which I said to give me a second, because I was in the middle of putting the pizza in the bag. She repeated herself and I told her the same thing, to give me a second since I was in the middle of putting it pizza in the bag. She then calls the manager over to tell him that I refused to confirm the order. I never refused to do anything. They have the nerve to get nasty with me after having me stand there for almost 40 minutes. At that point it should have came with a pizza bag, a full refund and an apology. Called last night to order pizza and first get told there is a 2 hour wait for delivery so we decide to order and go pick up and we are told it will be 15 to 20 minutes. We wait about 30 and expect our food would have been ready by the time we got there and we get there pay for the pizza and the employee tells us it will be a couple more minutes. A few people come in and grab there food but still nothing on our food. I get up and ask if it is done and the same employee tells me NO with and attitude and not even checking so i said can you check for me and she rolled her eyes at me laughing as she walked away. Im guessing the manager who was already yelling at the other employees about how filthy the store was this morning and how the GM wasnt going to be happy comes over and i tell her the situation while the other employee is still making snitchering remarks our way. She checks the computer to see where our order is and why orders placed after ours were already out and IT WAS NEVER FREAKING MADE!! NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS MR. GATTIS AGAIN!! WORST ONE I HAVE...
Read moreI guess Google does what Yelp does and will NOT post low rated reviews..... so I have repeat myself. I work for Doordash sometimes, and today I picked up a delivery that was valued at $700+. The tip on the receipt was 50.00. I received $7.00 from the guarantee NOT FROM THE CLIENT. It was 7 trips from the restaurant to my vehicle, with over 30 pizzas, dozens of large bottles etc. When I asked Doordash about it, they said that the restaurant has the ability to share the tip at their discretion with the driver. They did no such thing. I also think that the client who paid for this order thinks that I may have gotten this tip or part of it since they paid for this online in the Doordash app, it would seem that you are tipping the driver, but you are NOT. You are ONLY tipping the restaurant. The restaurant is doing what they always do, make pizzas. The driver is the one at a loss for gas, load in and unload. The tip should be applied differently or at the least explained to clients using these services, that this is where your...
