I love P. Terry's around Austin. I work healthcare and that includes late night shifts, P. Terry's gives me decent fast food for the right price. That said, this location consistently gives me terrible service. Usually bad service comes in the form of some kid that does not care about his job shoots a "what do you want?" kind of question through the drive through speaker. But my last visit took it to the next level. As I drove up I noticed the sign indicated that the second lane was open. There was only one car in front of me, and in hindsight I should not have taken the risk, but why wait for one car and risk another pulling up in the other lane and jumping in front of me? So I pulled into the outside lane. A few cars later I began to realize that the lane was left open by accident and I was not going to get service. About this time an employee came out of the back door, saw me there waiting, and went back inside for a moment. I thought "good, maybe now they'll come help me." The employee then came back out, put the orange cones up right behind my car, and walked around the side of the building (presumably to change the sign indicating the open lanes). Then he went back inside. A few more cars went through and I still received no assistance. Then I began trying to call the store. Finally, another young employee approached my car. He informed me that the lane was closed. I explained that I understood it was closed now, and asked if I could just be served. He implied that I was lying by saying the lane had been closed for some time now. I asked how that could be when I watched the other employee close the lane down and put the cones right behind my car in a fashion that it would make it impossible for me to go around the cones and be parked where I was. He informed me that it did not matter, and I would have to drive back around and start all over at the beginning of the line. Now, having been lied to, implied myself a liar, and told to start all over, I sped off, furious. I sent a message to P. Terry's via their website, never got a response. P. Terry's, is it really wise to ignore your customer service problems now that In-and-out has entered the...

This place has good food. That was not the problem I had with those place. I ordered delivery, paid with card and started tracking my order. Suddenly, for no apparent reason it says my order was cancelled. I didn't cancel it and it definitely was not refunded on my credit card. So I went down there (reason I order delivery was to avoid getting our to begin with) and my order was just sitting there getting cold. With a big ticket saying "delivery" on it. At first the manager tried to tell me door dash cancelled it. Nope, it was ordered directly from them. I showed her my order and my online banking record and finally she agreed to remake my food. I never got an explanation as to why it was cancelled and why it was just sitting there but they remsde the food, it tasted great and they put in 2 cookies for free. Well considering not free since the $5.99 delivery fee wasn't refunded. . It was my first experience with them and although it wasn't the best I'll try them again because the food was really good and they did try to...

So I place an order and it says it will be ready in five minutes. Cool. Well it was New Year's and I guess everyone wanted P Terry's so I was met with an hour and thirty minute wait. I should have known that this place wouldn't be honest with wait times like Domino's is, but I assumed they had the rush under control. I was shocked by how nobody was getting their orders. In the whole time I was there, hardly anybody got an order yet there were so many brown bags sitting around. I kept to my sink cost a bit too strongly and I finally get my order to yet another kicker - it's the wrong order and it is cold. They totally gave me someone else's burger and assumed I would be happy with a regular burger. I love the food and the hours here, but why not cancel orders or give refunds or something. Anything than making people wait over an hour and dumping leftover cold food at everyone once they are closed. It still upsets me to this day which sucks because this used to be my...

Stopped by for a quick dinner while visiting Austin on a Saturday. It was Spring Break week and also South by Southwest, so everywhere in Austin was extremely crowded. Arrived and there were about 10 cars ahead and I thought about leaving, but line seemed to be moving at a decent pace. After about 10-15 minutes, I was able to place my order. Person taking the order was very patient and friendly, especially as I had 4 orders. I enjoyed the simplicity of the small menu of burgers and chicken sandwiches. Burgers are 100% angus beef and chicken sandwiches are 100% ground chicken breast. After about another 5 minutes, I was at the window to pay and pick up my food. Window service was friendly and quick as I paid and left within a few minutes. For my order, ordered the Double Cheeseburger, French Fries, and, a Strawberry milkshake. Both the burger and fries tasted homemade. Line may look long, but moves quickly. Food was worth the short wait.

I have always been intrigued by this burger stand -great branding and architecture, but I had no idea what made them so special. Finally, I had time to check it out and I am so glad that I did. Super fast, friendly, efficient staff, and great food. The chicken burger was made with ground chicken that I wasn't too sure about, but I decided to give it a try and was glad that I did. It could have been very dry, but instead it was moist and full of flavor. The fries were perfection, and I was impressed that when I ordered an ice tea, it came with a lemon without asking. They have late night hours. My new favorite Austin drive thru!

The facility is unique and not like most fast food chains. I only purchased the number one combo with onions and pickles. The burger was good. The bun was soft and the burger Patty itself was fine. Burger normally come with lettuce and tomato according to the menu and you have to ask for onions and pickles. The service was good and the wait time was not long. The price is on point. Very good value. I didn't like the fries. They were a bit to salty and greasy. I'm going to come back and try it again though to see if they are the same way. I recommend this place tough as the burger and service was worth it.
