Case Report: My girl and I visited Bender Bar for the first time. Upon arrival, security was polite and welcoming. Once inside, we waited a bit before the bartenders acknowledged us, but service picked up afterward.

We ordered drinks and headed to the patio, where we purchased several songs on the jukebox — including tracks by Future, Jeremih, and Snoop Dogg. Later, we bought four more hip-hop songs, enjoying about 14 total before calling it a night.

The next day, I checked the TouchTunes app and noticed that every song we played — along with a large portion of the hip-hop catalog — had been removed from Bender’s playlist.

It appears Bender Bar now leans heavily toward alternative genres while filtering out hip-hop.

Asked a bartender at Jester King where to get a good burger. This was one of the higher recommended ones. Boy was he right. My burger was a perfectly cooked medium rare. Which is something I usually wouldn't do at a bar because more often than not it comes out super rare instead. I remembered this guy said their burgers are great so I went for it and they didn't disappoint. Wings we pretty good too but I only split and order with a friend. I would like to try some of their other sauces or rubs they have when I go back. Decent small draft beer selection for a place I expected nothing of. Apparently I missed half of the bar that has video games and pool tables but I was preoccupied. Visited this place on 1/30/22 at around 2200 at the request of a friend. Right up on entering I received a less than hospitable attitude from the gentleman behind the bar after I asked a question about the food. Really soured my whole experience, I went around him and dealt with the female bartender for the rest of our evening. I was actually shocked that someone would be so rude after just being asked a question about the menu. Ordered some wings, and they were good, the lady working in the kitchen was nice and she brought us our food very quickly. I don't want to just let one bad apple sully a reputation, but it seems the management does not really care about the overall experience. This place could be great, it's location is good and the people who visit are fantastic. It is awful when you come across a sad story like this one.
