Dirty business owner. Glad the business they reported did not violate anything. I hope yall happy with your efforts with no productive outcome. I used to bring my folks here to gain more business but I have zero tolerance with dirty businesses. We have evidence who you sent :)
Response to owner's cliche, unapologetic response: (All quotes are directly from owner's response) "I would like to address that this comment adds no value to the customers' experiences" - I will respond to this by saying business ethics matter in business, which is the root of all customers' experiences. Therefore, my experience with this business owner (I as customer previously) directly influences the whole Pocha business itself not only by throwing egg to Korean Pocha's image (Police bombarding into business while Customers are having great time) but also opens door for actual customers to be directly affected (we have proof/alibi of your Pocha selling alcohols to minors).
"this is a malicious comment with personal intent" - I will just say, it may well be an intent but this intent is to bring awareness to everyone that may also be impacted by your dirty business ethics, including customers.
"but please do not comment senselessly without factual and conclusive evidence" - I will have other Googlers to judge whether I am being senseless or not. If you as the owner really cares about your employee, I would stop here poking the bear about evidences.
When you guys falsely reported the impacted business the first time, we kept it silent. Second time falsely reporting using your employee as a sacrificial pawn, that crosses the line of all...
Read moreThe moment I walked in I knew the food was going to be fire. I was welcomed with a very vocal greeting that made me feel like I was pulling up to my aunts house.
Table for 1, had to grab a quick bite. The young lady, Hannah saw me taking time with the menu and politely suggested La Gabi but I went with the Bulgogi instead.
One bite in, I instantly knew I was going to kill this thing. I turned around and told her how effing delicious it was. She's like my auntie for real. The sliced beef was perfectly sautéed. Came with a side of white rice that I forgot about cause I was face deep in the skillet. Ouff, came out hot af too which is so important to me.
We were making small talk over dinner and she offered me kimchi. I've had poor experiences in the past with kimchi so I politely declined. Her expression of my refusal made me give it a second thought so I told her to bring me a sample.
One bite in, I knew the kimchi was made from scratch and I asked for more. God bless this woman and her chef.
Jun, I think that's how it's spelled was my server and was prompt and attentive with service.
Hannah, if you're reading this, I want you to know that I felt loved in your establishment and I love you back.
To whomever is reading this, go try you some...
Read moreAfter living close by for a year, I decided to give Pocha a try. The ambiance was fun, the servers very polite, and I really enjoyed my beer.
However, I was floored by how bad the food was. I was expecting it to be really good given the high reviews others have given, but the quality was just not there. I initially ordered fish katsu, which ended up being tiny fish with bones still in surrounded by a thick, greasy breading. I asked the waiter if I could send it back which is genuinely something I never do.
The waiter apologized, took it off the bill, and asked if I wanted something else, so I decided to keep things simple and get the kimchi jeon. While it was much better than the fish, it was still very greasy and hard to finish. Maybe I ordered the wrong things here, but I was not impressed at all by the food I had.
The staff was all very nice and I can definitely see myself coming back to drink, but I won't be in again...
