Holy smokes! This place is absolutely the best of the best. Hands down! The menu is super easy to order from. (1) Choose your size, lil or big, (2)Choose your rice, white or brown. Not in the mood for rice they offer their Poke Hi style or Hawian style for those not yet in the know. This is my favorite as it gives you the most bang for your buck. (3) Pick your poke flavor. If you are unsure about what flavor you like you can ask any one of the Poke masters in the shop and they happily will give a rundown of what's what. And last but not least! (4) Choose your add ins. The world is your oyster as Poke Poke offers a wonderful assortment of top notch , super fresh high end ingredients to choose from. Premium add ons such as mango or avocado will run you a bit more but I found that pretty easy to justify once I got a taste of what these fine people were selling. On top of it all they have great case combos and a Kale salad that will knock your socks off! Trust me, try it! Feeling a bit overwhelmed...dont be! They have pre designed bowls that will take the guess work out of it for you ! I recommend the Shiso Salmon Poke ! Sashimi grade salmon , with shoyu, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, fresh cucumbers , finely minced shiso leaf white and green onions , sesame seeds, and pickled ginger. A little blast of sambal takes this dish to the next level as your mouth is taken on an amazing journey through this compleatly original recipe. There are vegetarian and gluten free options for those looking for it and for those hot summer days stop in and try an Acai Bowl! Pure organic Acia sorbet topped with bananas, shredded coconut, granola (organic of course) and a drizzle of fresh local honey. Lunches get super busy here but thankfully they have online ordering for the person on the go. Hit up their website and check it out. From the second I walked in to the end of my meal I was compleatly blown away by how quick and knowledgeable the staff was and how they they go above and beyond to make sure that not just me, but every customer was taken care of and welcomed like family. I am pretty reserved about giving 5 star reviews but these guys have taken the Poke game to the next level and have more than earned their game changer...
Read moreI actually worked here YEARS ago but I am coming at it from an outsider’s perspective despite anything that happened in the past. I don’t even think the manager I worked under is there anymore. I came back to try it again for the first time in a while. Still pretty much the same menu they’ve had since. The food is pretty good. They have decent menu options. I will say I’ve never had a bad meal there. Not the BIGGEST portions ever but decent amount nonetheless. This location is definitely small. Small building with a few tables and like…one or two wooden tables right near the lot. Not the best. Not any nice outdoor setting. So…generally, worth a try. The guy working that last time I went was pretty friendly. I will also say it was kind of tough eating the poke out of the pint containers (had to mix it up out of them). I took it to go to have it at the park and it was definitely hard to mix cuz it was so full in that small container. So. If you’re eating it there or going home and using another bowl, that is best. Still possible but … some rice fell out...
Read more"It's Poke. It's Great. Just Go" ^^^^ That really pretty much sez. it all. If you need more, well, the owner is friendly, as is the staff, the poke is stellar (don't get the brown rice tho'. seriously. why would you inflict that on yourself?), and there are various canned/bottled things to drink. It's a brilliant place for lunch - the service is fast, and the food excellent. Couple of tips though As with most things poke, the simpler the better Don't get the brown rice The wasabi-poke now has a lot less wasabi in it - if you want it the old way, ask for it (or for a side of wasabi!) Don't get the brown rice. Don't get the brown rice.
(Fairness compels me to state that the brown rice ain't bad. It's actually quite good, as far as brown rice goes... But the regular...
