Can we get a "Hell yeah!" for women run businesses? This location is stellar, and I am convinced it is due to Manger Ashley Roberts.
I worked as a crew leader in 2005 at an upscale location in Florida. I am a total snob when it comes to service. I have been to several locations in Austin: Muller, the two other locations on Burnet (183 and the one by Chi'lantro), Wells Branch, Leander, Cedar Park and Round Rock. I say this is put into context how much I am "that customer" and how overly satisfied and excited I am to patron this store.
The store is clean, orderly, and well stocked. The staff is friendly, energetic, appropriately dressed, fast, and most importantly, they listen (I can't tell you how many times I ask for "lots of black olives", only to get a sprinkle). The food is fresh; the bread soft and well baked; the cheeses are at temperature and clean; the meats well kept, juicy and tasty. Each sandwich is picture perfect (I wish I had taken a picture of my last BMT that I had there- layered and evenly adorned as a sandwich should be!)
I don't know if all these compliments can be attributed to a female manager. However, between all the locations that I have visited, the female management seems to be the only difference. Ashley was working on the line with her employees, and I stand firm in that one fact alone, makes her a leader by example, and thusly, creating a team that is happy and affable with their customers!
Thank you to your team, and thank you for allowing me to have a positive lunch and not worry about what kind of service I will be getting or how my sandwich is going to look or taste, and actually enjoy my break from the office.
3 of 3 visits and all were positive and enjoyable!
Disclaimer- I always go at 12pm cst... therefore, my critique is not overall and only relates to the lunch staff. All 3 times, I have had Ashley, Jennifer per my receipt, and a male (medium height, short sandy brown/blonde hair, young guy). I will learn their names the next time I go...

If I could give zero stars I would. My experience with this location has never been good but yet it’s the closest so I’ve dealt with it but I refuse to going forward. Today I walked in and was immediately greeted with a scoff, as if Jason the employee hates working and seeing paying customers. After standing, being the only ones in the store, for 5 minutes he finally starts getting our sandwiches going. Then after the first sandwich was complete multiple online orders came through one after the other and Jason began those orders instead of completing mine. I was fine with the first and was patient even after the rude and terrible exchange thus far. However when he began the second online order I very nicely asked if he could make mine first as I had to get back to work. He grunted at me and with the most sarcastic tone said that “online orders are a priority over you sir”. After 3 online orders he finally decides to make mine and as he does, becomes very rude and slamming my bread and rest of the sandwich around. Just adding to the absolute horrendous experience. I will never go back to this place and as I said above, stay away from this location. Jason should get proper training or be let go all together as he is seriously hurting subways brand. Looking through google and yelp reviews others agree with me. Good luck getting out of the store within 20 min even...
