Holy shit! Walked in to Talisman Coffee on Manor Rd close to noon. Waited patiently for over 5 minutes since counter sign said they'd be right back. After a few more we asked a guy at the neighbor business Mum Foods if there was someone working. He approached someone sitting at the Talisman counter and asked if they saw us waiting. She got up and went into the Talisman staff area opened her mouth and spit out a mouthful of food! We and 1 other person waiting were so grossed out and blown away she had been sitting there the whole time we were waiting, we walked out quickly. Image is still with me! From Nicaragua to Austin. Fernando is incredibly friendly and he is so passionate about coffee and his business. It is family owned, his parents grow the coffee beans in Nicaragua and he roasts them in Austin. This coffee shop is exactly what the Manor Rd Windsor Park/ University Hills Neighborhood needed. We tried their oat milk cappuccino and oat milk iced latte and they were delicious! Located in the Mum Foods location this family owned coffee shop is a fantastic spot. It is always amazing to know where your beans are coming from and how they are roasted.

The owner has been roasting coffee in the Austin area for years and is very knowledgeable of the process. They get the beans from their family's farm in Nicaragua and you can really tell from the quality of the taste.

The owner is really friendly and they are turely passionate about the business. I had a great cappuccino!
