Mi Trailita Y Mas — Restaurant in Austin

I've been doing business with Mi Trailita since they were a food truck. Their tacos are wonderful but the customer service is AWFUL! I ordered tacos online. The estimated pick up time was 7:10pm. My order wasn't ready until 7:40pm. I waited while I watched people come in, order at the counter and get their order before mine which was pretty infuriating. Finally I get my order, drive back home 15 minutes and realize they didn't put my churros and chocolate cake in the bags. My bad for not checking my order but it was a huge order for 6 people. I tried calling for the next 10 minutes with no answer. So I drove back up there. I requested a refund of the desserts but to still give me my desserts to compensate for my time and having to drive back up there. The person at the register called the manager and told him the situation and supposedly my credit card will be refunded the amount of the desserts. He then seemed done with me and I said what about my desserts? He said I would have to wait another 25 minutes and pay for them because they were refunded. Well yes, but what about my compensation for having to drive back there for missed items!? I argued and he went to the kitchen and came back with the cake but no churros. I asked about the churros and he said again I would have to wait 25 minutes and then pay for them. That is unacceptable customer service and hour and a half of my time wasted. I was so looking forward to tacos and dessert with the family for Cinco de Mayo but this treatment and disregard for my satisfaction ruined the night. I was craving a Breakfast Burrito and decided to try Mi Trailita Y Mas, the new restaurant from the same family that run the very popular Mi Trailita taco trailer down the road. Mi Trailita Y Mas is near my house so I can conveniently pickup while still wearing my pajamas. I ordered online via their website, you can also call them to order and of course walk in and eat in their spacious dining room. Ordering online was quick and easy and I received a text when it was ready (in less than 10 minutes!). Got home, unwrapped the bag the first thing that hit me was that smell of FRESH home-made warm tortilla. For the burritos you choose your own fillings and I got eggs, potato, cheese and avocado. Saying it was delicious is an understatement, everything tasted amazing….perfectly cooked eggs, tender potatoes, gooey melted cheese, and fresh sliced avocado. Mi Trailita Y Mas is on Manor Rd at Rogge with plenty of parking, a rarity these days in Austin....

Me and my bud come here all the time. Good food, good prices, healthy portions, and always friendly service. I'm a carnitas.guy myself... and oh boy try the (not boracho, the other similar kind without the beer) beans, they are smoky and meaty and awesome. Lately they haven't been spicy at all and for me to say that, they really aren't. If you don't do hot we'll, the green salsa.will probably kill you. But it's all good food. I'm especially fond of the gordita and the quesadilla. One gordita is plenty for ol'fatboy here, but I always order 2 anyway.

Please note, The little strip mall they're in is still pretty dicey which I like because it keeps white people who are scared of black people, Mecicans, and people living in the margins away. Seriously, I'm a big fat white guy driving an old junker and it's still kinda.dicey after dark. I wouldn't go alone after dark if...
