Unfortunately, this taqueria Arandinas is going down more and more. Is not anymore as the beginning. My friend and I were there last week to take breakfast. My order was scramble eggs/ fried beans. At the time when I placed my order. I ask the waitress to add jalapeños in my scramble eggs. When the order comes out, I notice my eggs come out without the jalapeños. I asked them to the waitress, and she said.. let me ask the cook guy for the jalapeños. She went to a little window where all the orders came out, then spoke with the guy, and he made some faces and dropped off the raw jalapeños in a little plate. I was expecting they to make my order again and add the jalapeños while the eggs are cooking. Not on the side. She returned to the table, and she just dropped off. No apologies. Not even an excuse.. Then she left and never returned to the table nor even to check how everything was. My friend never gets a refill of her coffee. We had to go to ask for our bill at the cashier station. Which is as normal as we pay every time. The problem was the waitress never placed our order to The cashier.. and we had to look for her to bring the order to pay it.

Seriously!!

No.. I don't recommend this Arandinas place. And will never come back again.

Location: South first and William Cannon. Parking: free. But a little bit small the parking lot. Food: too bad. Price: if everything were ok.. it will be...

so today (January 28th 2018) about a hour or 2 ago 740ish pm. i go to this mexican restaurant and to sum it all up HORRIBLE SERVICE! i mean like the WORST EVER. so im already irritated but whatever right. we eat and were leaving to pay standing in line and i hear behind me some older lady about 50/60 something like saying something happend so i turn around and this women looks scared like real scared. explaining to these two workers what had happened, while the 2 workers one looked about in her late 20’s and one in her early 20’s while they sat in her face and said nothing but laughed . so i ask her what happen and she starts saying “ i was in the bathroom and someone turned the light off and it went completely black and i was hitting all the walls to find my way out “ then turn and continues to tell the 2 workers. and i watch to see what they are ganna do. (which not much they could do BUT APOLOGIZE AND SEE IF SHES OKAY) they STILL sat in this older womens face and laughed! had the nerve to look at me and expect me to laugh with her . so i turn to her and asked her “ whats funny? why do you keep laughing? “ she turned and walked away . thats someones grandmother, mom. i have never been so mad in my entire life. i wont EVER go back there again. EVER and i strongly recommend...

This place has the best green, creamy hot sauce in Austin that comes with your chips and salsa. I always ask for extra. If you like spicy that sauce is the way to go. It sneaks up on you. It also goes great when you add a little to a couple bean and cheese taco, but wait for your drink to get there first. I enjoyed there thin steak asada, and green enchilada plate with refried beans and rice. The steak taste even better with that enchilada sauce taste added from it being on the same plate, and a little bit getting on it from finishing the enchilada. I sometimes get the torta if I am really hungry. It is a lot of bread, but that is the idea. it just has some diced tomato, lettuce and your choice of meat. It is very filling, but I ask to get it with chicken breast instead. They have long thin cuts of chicken breast that are delicious. If the torta seems a little bland you can always add something to it like refried beans, rice, or some of that green sauce to give it a kick. They have other things on the menu that are pretty good as well. They have Mexican coke cola that goes great...

Guyssssss, I don't know why I've been sleeping on this place but I'm so glad I finally went. I've been trying all the Mexican restaurants around my house and today was Arandinas turn. I'm originally from South Texas and have not found a go-to Mexican restaurant.. Until today. Not one thing I tried was I upset over. I got flautas and they were amazing. They were seasoned well and crunchy, exactly how I like them. They came with avocado, cheese, crema, and lettuce on top. So. Good! They also had rice and beans on the side. Both of the sides were amazing and you could tell they care about the quality of the food. I also tried a bit of a chorizo/egg taco and a machacado/egg taco. They were both amazing! The tortilla was homemade and fresh. The service was really good and attentive and I never felt like I needed anything. They were busy when we got there but we did not have to wait a long time for food at all. We will come back and eat through this menu!

I used to come to this establishment 10 or 12 yrs ago . I've been wanting to go back for so long ,and today, I finally did. They did not disappoint. We had a lovely enjoyable breakfast. My boyfriend had the huevos rancheros, and I had a couple of breakfast tacos, and we lingered ,chatting in the warm, friendly atmosphere over our delicious big cups of coffee. We almost didn't want to leave. Our waitress was sweet and friendly & took excellent care of us. We can't wait to come back for dinner or do some takeout on a busy evening. This place reminded me of a good old-fashioned mom and pop Mexican restaurant. This is the real deal !

I have lived close by to this restaurant for about two years, but was never open enough to try it. Im not from here and it really seems like it shows... It might all be in my head or maybe im too observant for my own peace of mind. Feeling adventurous, I went in and asked for a recommendation. I assume my waitress isnt a local. I did kind of have the "out of place" feeling, but I'll blame myself for that...i usually feel thatI in austin, i can't give5 stars for a couple of reasons, but I'm a perfectionist...i recommend giving this place a go, and please let me know your experience. This fish was pretty good.
