Unfortunately, this taqueria Arandinas is going down more and more. Is not anymore as the beginning. My friend and I were there last week to take breakfast. My order was scramble eggs/ fried beans. At the time when I placed my order. I ask the waitress to add jalapeños in my scramble eggs. When the order comes out, I notice my eggs come out without the jalapeños. I asked them to the waitress, and she said.. let me ask the cook guy for the jalapeños. She went to a little window where all the orders came out, then spoke with the guy, and he made some faces and dropped off the raw jalapeños in a little plate. I was expecting they to make my order again and add the jalapeños while the eggs are cooking. Not on the side. She returned to the table, and she just dropped off. No apologies. Not even an excuse.. Then she left and never returned to the table nor even to check how everything was. My friend never gets a refill of her coffee. We had to go to ask for our bill at the cashier station. Which is as normal as we pay every time. The problem was the waitress never placed our order to The cashier.. and we had to look for her to bring the order to pay it.
Seriously!!
No.. I don't recommend this Arandinas place. And will never come back again.
Location: South first and William Cannon. Parking: free. But a little bit small the parking lot. Food: too bad. Price: if everything were ok.. it will be...

Read moreThis place has the best green, creamy hot sauce in Austin that comes with your chips and salsa. I always ask for extra. If you like spicy that sauce is the way to go. It sneaks up on you. It also goes great when you add a little to a couple bean and cheese taco, but wait for your drink to get there first. I enjoyed there thin steak asada, and green enchilada plate with refried beans and rice. The steak taste even better with that enchilada sauce taste added from it being on the same plate, and a little bit getting on it from finishing the enchilada. I sometimes get the torta if I am really hungry. It is a lot of bread, but that is the idea. it just has some diced tomato, lettuce and your choice of meat. It is very filling, but I ask to get it with chicken breast instead. They have long thin cuts of chicken breast that are delicious. If the torta seems a little bland you can always add something to it like refried beans, rice, or some of that green sauce to give it a kick. They have other things on the menu that are pretty good as well. They have Mexican coke cola that goes great...
