Tutty Frutty — Restaurant in Austin

Service was absolutely terrible, I waited for a sandillada for well over 30 minutes while I watched other customers get their items in about 5 minutes or so. When I asked about my order the young lady gave me attitude and proceeded to make my sandillada. When I tasted the drink it was nothing but Chile powder and lime juice and nobody (not even my wife who loves sour food) was able to drink that garbage. I typically get sandilladas from here so I know what they are supposed to taste like. I believe this disgusting drink was made to be gross purposely by the worker who attended me. I was a pretty regular customer coming in about once a week or so, spending a fair amount of money because the young ones at home really like tutty frutty, but I'm sad to say that Tutty Frutty will never receive my business again. I will stick to Pepes on riverside where the individuals who work behind the counter are much more kind and courteous and don't sabotage drinks just because someone asks about an item that they have been waiting for for well over...

Had the craving of a square chicharron prepared with a everything on it, service was good at the end but not at the start took about 4 m to take my order after standing there in front of the cashier. While she made eye contact. There was 3 employees standing there. atmosphere was bad, customer walked in and cut right in front of me while I waited to be helped, im sure that kid that prepared my food could give better service if the manager motivated her employees on giving the customer service need it. But she made up by the way she prepare my food it was delicious. We were on the go and this is in the same parking lot as a major national taco franchise. Decided to keep Austin weird and keep it local. It was a great decision. The beef burrito was so rich in flavorful and amazing. We also ordered a pineapple cucumber drink and a cantaloupe drink. The reason I ordered the drink was because I saw them cutting the cantaloupe right in front of the counter. The fruit is very fresh and everything was great. It is hard to determine by the name of the establishment that they're such an amazing taco and other Mexican foods, including natural juices and fruit cups and desserts. I would recommend anyone to skip the national chain and come and try....
