I’d give zero if we could. The bartender was AWFUL and trust me, to get my husband and I to feel that way it takes a lot. Our flight got delayed, got tacos near by (which were awesome) spend about two hours there unfortunately due to the delay, but found a great spot in front of the tv so we could watch some football. Asked for beverage menu which she said they didn’t have…UNFORTUNATELY thought nothing of it and proceeded to have two drinks each and one shot so six total and got the bill for $197.00!!!!
For DECENT Service given it’s an airport, okay, but this was the worst experience ever and food was not part of the bill… Never wiped down the bar when we sat down yet it still reeked of vinegar. When she finally acknowledged us after being there for 15 minutes we ordered. After our first drink she looked over 15-20 after we were done and said another? I said please!….30 MINUTES LATER…. she looks and we could tell she forgot which isn’t that big of an issue as we are patient (and they were not that busy at all) but she made it like it was such an inconvenience. Asked to close out three times and she “forgot”. SO rude.
The guy sitting next to us was the kindest man and she literally threw his card down at him when he OPENED his tab. Like what?!
We are in the service industry and it takes A LOT for us to tip under 20-22%… we def tipped her less than that at this visit…not to mention I could barely finish signing before she snagged it, looked at receipt and rolled her eyes.
Long gone is tipping for service. If you don’t like your job get a new one. We thought we scored finding a place at the bar to watch the game but were sadly MISTAKEN!!!
DONT GO HERE! WAY over priced and...
Read moreFirst words out of the bartender, "You can't sit there...." I should have known then to try another bar. I was told I couldn't sit on the other side of the tape (one seat across the line) Bartender assumed I wanted to "watch the game" and directed me to a seat I did not want to be in. I wanted the quiet seat because I needed to process the previous 16 hours spent trapsing across the damn globe.... in hindsight, the server was metering the number of available seats. Goodness forbid you have a full bar and have to actually work! Tired and just wanting a drink, I sat for 2 pints over 2 hours waiting on flight delay. Halfway through pint #2, I noticed THE FLIES IN THE LIME JAR!!! As a retail person for many years, I may be overly critical with the attention to detail I observed being overlooked, but..... GROSS. Not once did the bartender WIPE THE COUNTER AFTER A PATRON VACATED A SEAT...IN TWO MFN HOURS! THE back bar is filthy with wine stains. The cooler glass doors look like 14 puppies died inside them, trying to lick their way out. Call John Taffer, THIS AIRPORT BAR IS DISGUSTING AND NEEDS A HEALTH DEPARTMENT...

Within a few moments, a lady with dark red hair told the lady in front of me that there was "table service". I assume she figured I would hear her because she didn't bother to acknowledge me. I sat down at a table for about two minutes and no one came to me HOWEVER a couple came straight in and sat down & the main waitress (blonde hair) flew out asking them what drinks they would like. Really? I stopped the other lady with red hair and asked her could I be assisted and she told me "she'll be right out". I told her "She has been out and helped another couple before me so I'm sure I've been overlooked". She was kind enough to go find my "waitress" (there's your 2nd star) and ask her to help me. I only had 20 minutes before boarding my flight so I ordered the SIMPLEST thing...SPRITE & FRIES! My soda was SPRITE JUICE and my fries came out toasted...so I chumped on enough crunchy fries to take my vitamins and left. I don't plan on returning. Total waste...
