Tortilleria El Taquito Marisquero — Restaurant in Austin

Nestled in the northern part of Austin. As soon as i walk in, the aroma of freshly baked tortillas de maiz fill the air. I feel I am transported back to Mexico lindo y hermoso.

The food is spectacular. They have tacos of all kinds of meats you would like. Lamb, pork, beef, tripas, buche, carnitas. I can go on and on. Buy a taco or buy a pound....it is all delicious. Please do yourself a favor and experience this place. I have been coming here almost every morning getting different tacos, and i have not been disappointed yet. They also have a variety of authentic mexican cheeses, salsas drinks, and snacks. DO NOT MISS OUT...

Fresh tortillas, tacos a la carte, various plates, horchata on tap (as well as other daily agua fresca), counter or table service. They were great with my requests, all six peoples breakfast tacos were great. Salsa for sale by quart and pint, too... aguacate or jalapeño is my personal favorite.

Chicharonnes con carne by the pound, crispy or meaty and it is the pork version of beef jerky candy, melts in your mouth!

There is a next door restaurant part of it I’m assuming and the service is bad because they take forever to refill for stuff or ask for additional items. They give watered down drinks asked if we could replace it and they said no. That they would charge it again.

Additionally they CHARGE FOR CUPS TO GOOOOOOO!!!! Like I’ve never seen that ever before in a dine-in restaurant. They should advertise this and let people know. They have us spending more...
