Mariscos Los Jarochos — Restaurant in Austin

Restaurant los jarochos exceeded my expectations about the service and food.

I visited this place long long time ago and was very poor the service on those days.

But ohhh surprise now it's one of the best sea food places in town.

The food was soooo good. Portion, flavor, presentation 😋 👌 🙌 ♥️. Price... over price but when we tasted the food we understood why... because it tasted sooo good. Service: this is my favorite part on every places I visit.. incredible good!!! The waitress was very nice, professional, with very well knowledge of the Manu and the drinks.. Fast service besides was busy the restaurant. The drinks was amazing!! I ordered a tamarind Margarita 🍹 😋 🤪 And my friend Virgin piña colada.. delicious 😋!!

This place is a solid NOT AGAIN!!! First time we went I ordered i believe it was called camarones Jarochos and i was definitely disappointed. Expected something a bit spicy since the description said shrimp in chipotle sauce covered in cheese with onions and tomatoes. But to say the least it was super salty and the shrimp weren't even peeled. Okay gave it a second try and again disappointed. First our server was gone and came to the table maybe twice. Our food came out in parts so some of us finished before others because if we kept waiting our food would of gotten cold. The plate i got was just bland. Then I ordered a strawberry margarita sadly ive never had a worst one. Couldn't even send it back since our server was a no show. No English, no attentive service, orders had to be sent back twice due to mistakes on food preparation, very plain, no flare, appetizers brought out at the same time of entre, did not trust the way the fish looked so I ordered carne asada and got a size 12 Leather boot sole, did not fill up water glasses, did not bring plates out to eat the fajitas on the platter, had to eat the fajitas off the platter. In an attempt to get the attention of the waitress she would walk by our table and turned her head the other way but that didn't stop me from saying hello man hello hello mam mam and she just moseyed on down to the bar to do whatever she had to do.
