Cash Pawn — Local services in Austin

I have been a customer at this location for a while and I have purchased several items. I looked at a piece of equipment and it was broken I told them I would have to think about it and I would be back. On my way back my car broke down I called them to hold the item and they said no. I know pawn shops are not like the TV show and its money talks and bull corn walks. If you're thinking pawn shops are out to help you would be sadly mistaken and this pawn is no different. I have several pawn shops that recognize me and give me return customer treatment this one I could buy something five minutes earlier and they couldn't care less and I have experience the same issues that other shops have like sold items on the shelf. That's right items that appears sold on the computer and sitting on the shelf and that goes for layaways also. I tried buying something there and when I tried to pay for it, it turned out it was on layaway. How would you like knowing your layaway items are on display for other to take parts off of or dropped. Not professional at all this store and one other location I have had the same issue with.

I purchased a piece of equipment and was told I had 48 hours to return it. It turns out that was a bold face lie because the receipt in small print stated all sale final no returns no exchanges as is sale. Now I have a something that doesn't work and the repairs would cost more than the items worth new I'm done with this location they have done me wrong for the last time.

If cash pawn states you have a 24-48 hour warranty get it in writing because every receipt printed has as is no refunds no exchanges buyer has inspected item. That's all locations I tried contacting the company and they have refused to deal with me. Buyer be warned ask...

I have never been disrespected the way that I was today 12/19/23 I received a call stating I had a loan due which I keep up on all my records the lady on the phone was really sweet and tried to explain what was going on but she was new so I asked for a manager GREG (Not a manager) got on the phone and asked what was going on I explained to him in detail my situation and once I started pointing out dates and times he became upset and started telling me “well I have a bunch of shoes in front of me so either make your payment or get off the phone” I told him I wouldn’t have a problem with making a payment but I just made a payment and he did not want to look at the history of it once I asked him if I can speak to the original manager he stated “my store is filling up with people so I have to get off the phone and hung up in my face” I called back to ask for a corporate number Greg answered the phone again and told me there is no corporate number call back when Jerry gets in tomorrow and hung up again. Well i bought a PS3 & 1 pair of Bluetooth ear phones from this location. I wanted to test out the earphones and control to PS3 but the employee told me they did not have a charger to either one and told me i would have to purchace a charger for control. But guaranteed they tested them before they put them on shelve for purchase. Well i end up going back to the cash pawn 3 times for the control and earphones the 3rd time i dealt with the manager she was so rude, I've been a good customer and purchased alot of items from this location. Asking if i purchased a 6 month protection plan. I said no but i was supposed to get a working controll in the first place. She was talking to me like i was a child then traded me a control and said that's all she can do for me. That i could go to another store i didnt have to go to this location. Well the control she gave me did not work. I should of keep the one that keep charge for 5min. cause now i have to buy a control.
