Terrible service & mediocre food. The waitress we had refused to give us a breakfast menu, stating that they stopped serving breakfast at 11 am. I looked at the online breakfast menu and asked for the country fried steak and eggs (which would not normally be offered if breakfast was no longer being served, as it is not listed on the lunch/dinner menu) and I was able to order it wish no issue. I guess the only issue was that she would have to walk to physically get us a breakfast menu to look at. She took 35 minutes to deliver drinks, and we were sitting for a full 60 minutes before we received half of our table's food. The food was overcooked and not worth the price. We were very let down, as friends of ours recommended this establishment. The server seemed to be under the influence of alcohol. She was extremely confused, and it didn't seem like she was new, but that she was too inebriated to function. Someone at our table ordered a glass of wine, and after forgetting it twice, she laughed and said she was grabbing one for herself. Our orders were easy and didn't contain modifications, yet she couldn't remember who ordered what and delivered another table's food to us. As she was placing the wrong items down, we tried to stop her to let her know the food wasn't for our table, but she wasn't listening and was mumbling to herself incoherently. It was a very uncomfortable experience where we were consistently forgotten. We won't be back or recommending this...

Potentially the worst meal I have ever had. We arrived at 10AM for breakfast on 10/6/2024. We typically like diners as well! We were seated right away by a very nice host. Except we never got silverware. (Not a big deal)

After about 15 minutes the host came over and asked us what we'd like to drink. We didn't meet our server until about 25 minutes after sitting down. I had drank all my coffee at that point. Was not offered a refill. We were asked by the server (I can't provide a name because she never introduced herself) what we wanted. We both ordered a combo of pancakes and eggs and breakfast meat.

We waited another 25 minutes for our food. In that time we had no refill on drink, we didn't have any silverware either. Finally when our food came it was terrible. The pancakes were dry and crusty. The over east eggs were over hard. And the scrambled eggs were cold. The sausages were clearly freezerburned.

At that point we waited another 5-10 minutes for our server to realize we didn't have silverware even when we told her. The meal ended up being $40. The only positive thing i can say is the host was very kind. Would not reccomend this resturant with all the awesome diners there are in the area. Maybe their lunch/dinner...

It's Thanksgiving. Since it's just my Mom & I (usually) we go here quite a bit...to include last Thanksgiving.

Have never had an issue and usually know what we want before we even walk through the door. For me, the Maria Waffle or a Skillet. YUM!!

Today, my daughter and grandkids came with us. Looking over the menu, no breakfast. Asked if the menu has changed. Angie, our waitress got an attitude right away and told us they were the lunch menus. She came back with different menus, handed them to us (over my mother's head) and snipped that anything on it was a $1 more since it was after 11. (Mind you, NO WHERE does it say that, online, on the menus, posted signs....no.)

Her attitude though! My daughter and I looked at each other like "did that just happen?"

Then we heard her complaining about us wanting breakfast to the kitchen staff. WTH??

Monica came over and was extremely nice and she made sure we didnt have to pay for our drinks, so gave her a tip. (We asked for the check, fully intending on paying)

We are now at Cracker Barrel...

Another stop on my trip to Cleveland, and we figured we'd grab breakfast ~ literally would have preferred anywhere else. The food here was... mediocre at best. We got the Dawg Pound skillet, which promised sausage gravy on the menu, only to have a dry plate at the end. The waitress we had seemed frazzled, annoyed, and ignorant. We felt ignored, like we had signs over our heads saying "from out of town." She even forgot out pancakes completely (of course, they were on the check)! But the main turn-off of this place, besides the terrible service and the waitresses who need an attitude adjustment, was their "I don't care" attitude about my peanut allergy. Ultimately, the one friendly waitress in the restaurant answered my question, but the woman on the phone and our waitress didn't bother to give me answers about the location being peanut-free. That's something huge that shouldn't be put on the back-burner. - I found out at the end the waitress noted it on our bill that there was a peanut allergy on my item. That was nice.

Johnny’s Boathouse is a neighborhood eatery. They offer a wide variety of food in a family-friendly atmosphere. Food: The menu includes options like eggs, omelettes, and scrambles. 🍳🥞🍳🥞 We had veggie & cheese omelet, a Johnny Boathouse wrap, and pancakes. Food quality is good and delicious with reasonable prices. It has a cozy ambiance, but it’s not necessarily a fancy spot. The focus here is on good food and a welcoming environment. If you’re looking for a local gem with tasty breakfast options, Johnny’s Boathouse might be worth another visit.

Let's start off with the the atmosphere. It was exceptional in cleanliness. Very open. You dont feel like you're too crowded or too close to others not in your group. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Lots of smiles all around. Gave us a welcoming feeling. The food was delicious. Everything prepared and cooked to perfection. I wish they would have specified they serve sausage links instead of my preferred patties, but that's just me being picky. Overall experience was **** 1/2.
