Maryland Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Avon Park

From a 4 star I had to go Down to a 2. I always give tips everytime I come here and it’s seems like being good is never enough. I’m a regular at this location and it seems I’m often being disappointed now, it is my second time from since the last time coming here again and I always take my first bite into the hush puppies and in the center of them was still cold like biting into a refrigerated burrito that’s been frying for only 5 seconds to get the outside hot but the inside still not done. I came back and ask for my order to be redone and they did just that but still gave me the old wrinkled bag from the old order. I’m sure it is the employees responsibility to provide good customer service since being a regular I know how I’m usually served but for the service provided a meeting needs to be held with the employee of tonight...

The lady in front if me was just getting her chicken when I ordered my food. So she comes back in with her chicken and ask for a refund. I asked her what was wrong she said it was spoiled, and she told them it was spoiled. I was skeptical about my chicken. Well I went ahead and decided to not cancel my order. Well I got home and bit into my chicken it was spoiled. I had to take it back. I asked her why would they still be serving that chicken if the lady told them it was bad. This is not the same Maryland fried chicken as it was when Mr. and Mrs. blue owned it Since the 70s... Everything is pretty much the same the chicken is good the drinks are watered down and the prices are extremely too high...

The best Maryland fried chicken is in Sebring FL next to the old movie theater on hwy 27 it has the best prices and best quality food. these people in sebring bought out Maryland fried chicken and has the same recipe and great food that Mister blue had when he owned the one in avon park Florida.
