Chicken Express-Azle — Restaurant in Azle

The quality of chicken served here has gone downhill, get used to getting scraps when ordering here. Employees don't care if your chicken is the same size as a McDonald's chicken nugget in their world it's a tender in their eyes and no matter how much msg is pumped into the marinade it's not bringing me back. Food tastes ok if you get decently cooked chicken might even earn a decent review but everytime I go here in 2022 yall keep shafting me with leftovers and giving me attitude at the window because I asked for some condiments. Go huff and puff somewhere else if you didn't want to serve me no need to be rude at the window because the kids you hire can't seem to handle basic customer service nor want to work in general. Can't believe you pay employees up to $15 an hour to stand around..I used to work here @6.25/hour back in the day and would work circles around your crew just saying the door to hit and clean up the drive thru is never used.... imagine if you started expediting orders through the door by the drive thru line would be faster and more people would be happy but then again I bet the manager nor owner never reads these reviews nor cares as long as he's making some bank. This is the final time I'll be eating here save your money and go to a different place to eat it's honestly not worth going here for the price you pay and what you get on return. I had a late lunch there today, May 27, 2022. The food was good but the service was not great. The person who took my order put a drink cup on the counter and when I asked her for lemon for my fish, she dumped a handful of lemon juice packets into my cup. I’ve never had something that disgusting done right in front of me before. I have no idea where that young woman’s hands had been. I kept my mouth shut and did not ask for another cup. I was afraid of retaliation. I filled my drink cup and went over to the counter to get a lid for it. There was one lid left for the size cup that I had. I was not given a fork for my fish and when I went to get one the first girl couldn’t find any. When she asked for help from the person who took my order, that one acted disgusted and got a fork for me out from under the counter. The forks are supposed to be in a container right by the cash register. Did she put any in that container? No. I suppose the next person who wanted a fork had to ask for it. While I was eating they had a lull in business and at least three people were behind the counter talking loudly and it sounded as if there was some gossip going on. Instead of talking loudly and doing nothing, I feel that there should have been some restocking going on. It appears to me that there needs to be some adult...

My husband and I got chicken strips to go. Got home and immediately noticed the extremely light color of the fry on the chicken, not crispy at all. Broke apart the first piece, very rare at best. So we tested all of them, same thing. We boxed everything back up, my husband went back, about a 15 minute drive each way with traffic. He pointed out to them that the chicken was literally raw. They did not seem the least bit concerned that they were serving raw chicken. Are they not trained on the fact that consuming raw chicken can cause a serious case of food poisoning and/or other health issues that can be fatal. They did replace our order but here's real kicker, my husband broke open a couple of pieces from the new order before he left the store, he thought they looked OK. But when he got home and we tried to eat, 7 out of the 10 strips we got were still raw. These people are going to kill someone. We then didn't eat anything from our order.
