Golden Donuts — Restaurant in Azle

I sent my friend to get me some doughnuts before I had to work. He was supposed to be given a 1/2 dozen and some doughnut holes. The lady obviously needs to stop flirting and open her ears so she can hear what the customer needed. She charged him for a dozen of doughnuts and doughnut holes. He didn't realize what she did until after she charged him for it and then was gonna keep my change. I tried calling them to see if we could get the problem fixed. They let their phone ring off the hook and wouldn't answer. I tried calling twice. Their mailbox is even full and can't take any messages. Delicious donuts, and always a friendly face.

Everytime my family and I visit this restaurant we are great with a smile and amazing service. The donuts are always fresh. The hubby always orders the chocolate eclair and sausage rolls. Our kids love the strawberry donuts, with and without sprinkles. I love that they offer both. I like to try several things. In our many trips, i have had the jalapeno rolls, glazed donuts, blueberry cake donuts, maple twists and my favorite apple fritters. The staff fills the eclairs while we wait. The sweet young woman behind the counter asks if we want the sausage rolls warmed up, which we always do, hehe.

I always get good donuts here and the lady who usually is working is very sweet. My little sister is one of their regulars and they always remember her name and favorite order. It’s nice inside also, and I’ve never seen them do anything unsanitary like lots of other small donut places do.

I don’t know if she reads these, the donut lady, but today I walked in and ordered donuts before realizing I forgot my debit card. I walked out to my car and was embarassed that she had already bagged the food so I just left.
