I’m hoping a regional manager sees this and I will be sending in a complaint to the higher ups about the Azle, TX location. I only ever stop by at 6am-6:15am in the morning, I only order a large diet Dr Pepper light ice and a sausage egg and cheese taquito....so this shouldn’t take long right? Wrong, the last 6 times, I’ve waited 20-30 minutes in the drive thru line. I’ve been patient when I see there’s a long line, no problem, I get it when it busy. But when there are designated spots for people who have large orders to go park to wait for their food so that other people with just drinks or small orders can get there food and go instead of wait till their food is cold and ice melted in their drinks, unacceptable. Today I got my drink and it’s as if she gave me someone else’s drink that she poured by mistake and when I came up and it just happened to be a drink I ordered so she decided to get it out of her way. It tasted like water, no carbonation whatsoever, very light brown color. I don’t know how long that drink had been sitting there but it wasn’t even cold anymore. Then my food wasn’t warm at all by the time I got to the window. She had 4 other bags of food at the window lined up ready for the people behind me, which is fine but they weren’t sending people off as fast as chick fil a so how do they expect the food to stay warm at the least?? The people are nice, but the performance of their jobs was absolutely horrible. I can’t believe someone hasn’t addressed this yet. I keep saying I won’t go back but figure, ok, one more chance, because it’s on my way to a long drive to my sitters house daily and don’t want to have to go anywhere else on the other side of the highway or have to take the baby out of the car. Please Whataburger corporate address this location and get it under control. I love your establishment and will always support you but this location needs improvement...
Read moreYou know it's really unfortunate over the last few years that every Whataburger in North Texas has taken longer and longer to get food in the dining room.
I don't know if it's the influx of people moving to North Texas or if people are just getting lazier.
Tonight at 10:30 p.m. Monday night, my friend and I decided to dine in, I ordered a double meat whataburger combo and some fries. There was three other people in the dining room and just a handful of cars in the drive-thru. We placed our order at 10:30 from what the receipt said, and we received our food at 10:57 p.m.
27 minutes when there was only five of us in the dining room and hardly any cars in the drive-thru seems a little crazy, whatever. We went ahead and accepted our meals from our gracious food runner.
I slowly opened up my burger looking at the glorious stack of meat. That is the double meat Whataburger, unfortunately it was dryer than Nancy pelosi's undercarriage. It was charred and burned just like Kamala Harris is undercarriage, this was the most disgusting water burger i've ever had. I was born in Texas, I grew up on Whataburger but this was not Whataburger. The staff was nice, service was extremely slow and the quality of the burger was just disgusting.
I guess this is just the new normal we are supposed to expect from just about every dining establishment.
Anyways, that's my two cents on my dining experience tonight.
And to make things worse, I ordered a to go burger for my wife. A number 1 with fries and drink and an extra order of onion rings.
Well I get home to find the fry's are missing. Sigh.... At least the onion rings were good. Holy hell people, take a little pride in whatever...
Read moreWhataburger is my absolute favorite burger spot, unfortunately this location has forced me to leave a bad review after numerous issues over the past year of visiting this location since moving to Azle. Last night we made on online order to avoid the inevitable 30 minute wait, the app said the order would be ready at 4:43, we arrived at 4:50 and did not get our food until 5:25. The thing that set me off was when I was grabbing some spicy ketchup off the tray on the online pick up order counter and the lady takes the tray and sets it under the counter and tells me if I specified what ketchup I wanted on the app then they would already have it in the bag! The funny thing about it is that I DID add the ketchup and it wasn't in the bag. And to top it off I also customized two of my patty melts with bacon, extra cheese, extra creamy pepper and extra grilled onions, did either of my patty melts come with the extra add ons that I paid for? No, of course not, this is a recurring issue. I guarantee you over this past year I've probably spent 50 bucks for add ons that weren't on my burgers as we eat here once a week but I've just accepted that this location sucks but it's the only one around. I've never complained once and I'm always friendly to the staff. My point is that I've let all these issues go unresolved and this lady has the nerve to take the ketchup from me!!! They obviously don't care about customer service because they know they're the only game in town and everyone will come...
